Thread below by OverRated made me realize I no longer run back to my computer to post reviews - tend to wait now, a couple of weeks or more, hopefully to be more objective. Found that in earlier days of hobby, I was too often letting the brain between my legs do the review. Any similar experiences out there?

or it'd be just stream of consciousness stuff. I wait 'till the impressions slow to a trickle and the important ones bob to the surface, maybe a day, maybe two. But definitely while I'm still infatuated. Wait longer and I "get over her," and some of the smaller sweet details fade.
...to wait a couple of days to let the afterglow fade. I look back at some of my earlier reviews (written under another member name) that were written a couple of hours after the session and think, blecccch! I can write a whole lot more objectively if I wait a couple of days.
I also tend to write reviews only if the experience was really good or really bad. Have had a couple of cases where the experience has been mediocre with ladies who do everything right, and I have chalked those off to chemistry and not written reviews. Probably not the best practice, but I just have a hard time finding the words when a provider does everything right, but the thrill just isn't there.
I hate to admit it, but the last lady I was with I was analyzing her performance in the context of my upcoming review!!! Sick, isn't it?
I was driving home from the appointment, reliving the details and writing the review in my head. I was interrupted by the ringing of my cell phone. It was her, calling to say that she had a great time. Nice touch, I thought. When I got home, I ran into my office, and turned the computer on. Then I realized that I needed perspective, and went to sleep. Wrote the review the next day.
I did want to give it some thought. However, I didn't want to wait too long and possible forget some important details.
The last girl I was with I was secretly checking her for tatoos and piercings to include in my review....how's that for wacky?!!!
Seems normal to me, but then again, I guess that's a statement in itself...
I don't really enjoy writing reviews, so I find I only write reviews when things have been different from what I expected in one way or another. If I've just seen a frequently well-reviewed provider and had a great session, I'm much less likely to take the time to add what is essentially just a "Me too". Hopefully, none of them would ever feel slighted about this-
I usually wait a week or so. Not so much to let the euphoria wear off as much as just darn hate the tediousness of the process. To be honest, I've gotten very slack about posting reviews. My date to review ratio is probably about 10 to 1, and my time frame from date to actually writing the review is probably about 3 to 4 weeks. I just hate doing them, but I do realize, in fairness to the ladies and fellow hobbyist, it is an important piece of the biz/hobby. However, I am always more then willing to provide information and references regarding ladies I've had the pleasure of visiting via chat, private messaging, and other back channel means. I rely on that portion of the research much heavier then I do the reviews. Especially when it's hobbyist I've gotten a chance to know that are rendering the opinion. Lastly, I know some ladies love reviews and others hate them. So I try to keep that in mind when making that decision. I will never hide behind an alias other then the one I use all the time when posting on board and chat. My perspective is if I'm Big enough to write it, I'll stand behind it. Damn, I've responded to several topics this morning. I'm on a roll 
forgetfulness sets in and before other 'dates' interfere/blend the memories.
As noted; Jumping on your computer mere hours after the encounter tends to let too much of the "afterglow" seep into the review and hard-ball journalism can deteriorate to romance novel pap. On the flip side waiting 3 weeks tends to blur the once luminous bawdy details possibly reducing the review to a clouded and not truly faithful depiction of events being them good or bad.

For whatever reason, it's stuck in limbo, the afterglow has lasted most of the week. If she wasn't travelling, I'd be back for seconds already. I do agree though, there's a point at which blood flow returns to the upper brain, and review clarity is at it's peak.
...time, because I know a good local review can help their business.

I, for one, would like to hear about your afterglow and the thoughts immediately afterwards.... Hell, that's what I'm looking forward to and paying for. I am not looking forward to and paying for the weeks later when I'm "sober headed" again!
I'm surprised at the number of answers that avoid the "afterglow brain".
I write immediately afterwards. Usually I'll edit it a couple days later for public consumption...which involves some more sober rewrites. so you get the best of both worlds.
I always say, "When it feels good, do it!" Do you now how many Bob's and Mike's (hmmm)I see in a given week?? And I'm sure you see a few women, and sometimes we can be rather similar,or easy to mix up!!
One guy I hadn't seen in probably a month called, the name didn't ring a bell, but when he told me his address, I said "Candleman!!". Lovely, scented candles helped me remember him.
So, when I got two reviews, about 2 months after seeing these people, I really had to think! You can give us a "quicker smile of remembrance", or "dang, won't do that again", if you write a review soon...when it's fresh!!
