I certainly understand the need for client verification for the safety of the women, and it is very important. However, after going through a totally ridiculous situation last Sunday, and actually right now as I speak, what does place of employment prove? The provider that I tried to see last Sunday would only accept name, contact #, name of employment, and contact # at the place of employment. I even offered to tell her my home address and phone number, easily checkable on Google, no good. Being Sunday afternoon, of course no one was there at my work. Due to the fact that someone didn't turn on the answering machine before they left Friday, or start the answering service, whatever, she was unable to verify that the number I gave her was for the company that I said I worked for. Evidently she immediately became paranoid, not trusting me at all. Since some simpleton at the office must have done the same thing today I'm going through a repeat of that situation right now. My question is, what does that prove? If the answering machine/service would have been working then, as well as now, all that would prove would be the company matched the number, nothing else. Even if she could have gotten in touch with an actual person she would have had to ask quite a few question's to verify that I was the actual person working there, and it would still be iffy. She could verify that someone by my name worked there but without a description what good would that be? I could have been using a friend, or even a stranger that I know of's name and company. Considering that, since I don't work in the main office and have never met the receptionist she wouldn't be able to describe me from Adam. As for tonight's situation I offered that I was a member of date-check.com, response, what's that? So much for that. Next I said that I was a TER member, response, what's your username, bhavinfun. Return call, I couldn't access your review's, they must be only available to VIP member's. Lastly I gave her two provider's name's and contact number's, both have told me that I could use them for verification. It's been almost an hour with no return call yet. Were my reference's available to accept a call from her? Who know's. I know they both know who I am so that's not a problem, however, one of the girl's has a phone answerer of her own, hopefully he would remember me since I've talked to him a few time's but who know's. There has to be a better way.

Actually, it sounds like someone told her what to ask for when screening, but not why. So, she dutifully follows the rules, because they're...well, the rules. Hope it works out for you, but I have to wonder if the frustration will ruin it for you even if you end up seeing her.
Thanks, the appointment desired last Sunday eventually took place on Wednesday, total wash, very disappointing and it probably wouldn't have been if not for the employment crap. Tonight's didn't happen due to the same damn thing. It really make's me wonder who the hell is working in the office of the company that I work for. Not about to try to reschedule with the woman I tried to see tonight after the way the last one went.
Otherwise have her call me and I'll answer the phone with your business' Name.
Hahaha, when I met her she even said something to that effect?????? "How do I know you won't have a friend answer the phone and say you work for him." Beat's me, what does the employer name and number prove? If LE is out to get anyone how complicated is it to set up a phony business name and phone number? Only one lady has ever wanted my work phone and she keeps calling me to make her Mac and Cheese. I've created a monster.
I don't know, I think if a woman can determine that a fellow by your name works at the office and then she follows up with viewing your driver's license at the date...then the "employment only screening method" determines that you are who you say you are to her satisfaction. I've never been asked for an ID myself. And no one has ever called my work cause I would get the phone call.
Seems to me that Reverse Directories, Asking for photos and Calling my workplace are a poor substitute for a good semen sample that she'd get anyway if she'd just collect her envelope at the end of a date instead of the beginning. Take it to the lab and get our DNA and put it through the ID Screen and she'll find out more than enough info.
Seriously, I'm pro whatever screening she wants to do, as I gather you are, for the sole reason that I want her to feel, and indeed, BE safe. But I sure hear your frustration about Sunday dates.
Provider: here's why I ask for intelligent info (I don't want to know where someone works)...been scammed, stood up ($500 loss last two fridays)-leaving others I said no irritated enough not to answer and probably called someone else, games played about hotels, even not coming in town as emailed.
Some of the nicest sounding people, and usually the game players come off SOUNDING the best, have taken advantage of my "no fuss, a few simple questions" and lets have fun attitude.
We've even had several game players who call several of us at once. we try to advise each other.
one night, midnight, myself and an agency girl, both arrived at the same dark house. she was so afraid her people wouldn't believe our "no one home" she had me talk on her cell to her agency.
last week a venture capitilist (supposedly) had me on the way out at 2:30am, after i left my retail store tryin to catch up w/biz...even called me while on the way, and i asked if he wanted to cancel....NO ANSWER AT THE DOOR OR PHONE! and what if i get stopped by the men in blue while out around "closing time"...
If you find a better way, I'd love to hear of it!!
Sorry to hear about your losses, that really stink's. As for the late night outcall's, be careful. Your doing what you want to, or have to do, but Christ, there are asshole's calling pizza delivery guy's out to rob, shoot, or whatever. A woman, or even two, going to a dark house late at night, no telling what could happen. For late night outcall's, how about telling the guy that you'll call him when you arrive, he then need's to meet you outside or at least come to the door where he's visible. That way you could at least still have the somewhat safety of your car or cab to decide if you want to go further. If he's legit I can't see anyone having a problem doing that. If you don't see or hear from him you're out of there without having to get out of your vehicle.

Hi, I am not sticking up for her in any way because I don't deal w/ work info, but I can tell you that in my experience as someone who is not a VIP & only a basic member, that I have tried to look up a poster's reviews before and have gotten that same error message saying that I must be a member to see them.

No problem, since there isn't really a fool proof way of verifying someone's true identity I guess her method is as good as any other. I'm just unfortunate enough to be working for a company that is out to lunch. For the second girl I attempted to see I had considered, and probably should have ask her to check out this board, for this post of mine. Even not being a VIP member you can still read post here can't you? Hey, maybe another board should be established for referencing purpose's. If a member want's to see a certain provider he can post a message to the board where she can read it and see that he is for real, checking out his other review's also.
If I see a post of yours for example, and it says "bhavinfun's 27 reviews", & I click on that link it tells me I am basic member and cannot access those reviews. I don't think I can look up someone's posts either as a non-VIP. In fact, I am sure I have tried this before. I guess the lady you contacted could go to the board and look through the posts to find yours but who has time for all that? Posts on a board I doubt will make her feel safer, although some ladies seem to rely on that heavily so who knows? Sara
It sounds to me you may be choosing if and who to see pretty much at the last minute. What you might want to consider is choosing a couple or three ladies in the area who catch your interest and send them your info for screening in advance along with a note explaining your scheduling most often is close to last minute and let them screen you in advance (you may even send just the letter first to be sure she is available on weekend and is favorable to somewhat last minute bookings then if she is agreeable send in your screening info several day or even weeks in advance.
On what the employment information serves to do is decrease chances you are le etc. You could easily let the lady know you work outside the office and if she phones to say she is calling from ____________ magazine to verify your subscription and could you call her back between x time and y time. That not only verifies someone with your name works there but also that he is the same person wishing to book her. Effectivly it is all about helping us feel safe so we can provide the best experience for you possible.
On references you might want to consider providing more than requested as in more than a few cases a lady will attempt to contact an other for references but not get a reply for some hours or even days due to the lady being used as a reference is otherwise occupied
An other suggestion I would make is that when you provide your ter handle you also send her a link to your reviews as many ladies do not have vip membership and cannot run a search by reviewer.

I responded to the first women's ad as soon as it appeared on Eros, two day's before she arrived. The second one, who I've been wanting to meet for about a year, was only here for three day's. Her ad didn't show up until the first day she was here and I responded to it the second day. I do tend to be more of the impulsive type though, not very good at planning way ahead. How do you feel about my suggestion in the above post? If I call you up asking to meet you, I could tell you that I'm a TER member. To prove it I could post a message to this board or another one. When you see the message by my username you would at least know that much about me is legitimate and somewhat trustworthy.
Considering I do not publish my phone number that would be a bit difficult. even then frankly that would not verify you. In the off chance you were to email or phone me I would simply tell you the facts of life as they stand. I have a contact form on my website, fill it out, the more thouroughly and accuratly you fill it out the first time the quicker I can verify. The only interest I have in reviews written by a gent is 2 fold, 1 if I cannot get in touch with the references he has provided that may give me other options that would be quicker than going back to him for additional references, 2 by looking at them I can get some idea of what he enjoys and if I would be able to provide him with an enjoyable experience.
