Thanks for responding to my questions.  I was talking about the women who put ads on BP and the like.  I have seen some women advertise on BP for over a year and they have zero or maybe one review within that time frame.  I would imagine that someone is seeing them or they would go out of business.  I was also concerned about LE or ripoffs but I reasoned that someone would have reported them if that was the case.  It would be nice to hear from any other ladies as to why they don't allow or have reviews.  I can't tell you how many women I have passed up because they had no reviews.

I have been watching some providers ads and they never seem to get reviewed.  They post almost every day and still no reviews!  Should this be a reason for caution or concern?

for various reasons.   They also could be seeing a lot of regulars that don't want to do repeat reviews.

Hello, That may be true, but why would they post so often if they had so many regulars?

with others in their area.  Us guys post frequently, but we're not out there posting reviews every day either.

Are you speaking of ladies who post on the message boards?

Or of posting daily ads on ad sites?    Because that's a different animal altogether.

If it's the latter, then you should be aware that MANY, if not most, of the ladies on that type of site have very few, if any, reviews here.
If there are particular ladies who pique your interest and you're waiting for them to be reviewed prior to taking a chance.... try asking about them on your local board.  Include the link to her ad in your post and you'll likely get opinions on whether or not she's real and/or worth the risk, if not reports from someone who's had first-hand experience with her

I was referring to posting here on local regional boards.

Yes, I realized that.  My question was for the OP, not your very intuitive self.  ;-

From his remarks that these ladies are posting daily, it would make sense if he were referring to ladies who "post" their ads on BP and similar sites on a daily basis.

...stick with well reviewed providers. Several reviews by reviewers with lots of reviews.

Yes it's cause for both caution and concern. They could be perfectly legit but they may not. They may be out to rob you or it could be a bait & switch situation. It could be simply bad service or up sell.

Thanks for the good advice. I get it! Stick with providers with many good reviews from friends who have reviewed many providers in the past.

If your research skills aren't the best you should avoid unreviewed providers. Many bad things can happen when you see someone you can't verify as a legitimate, high quality provider.

Debbie is spot on.

It really depends on the business model of the lady - some, like me, do not encourage reviews or mention/ask clients for them.  The reviews I have I was surprised to see actually, although happy they had such a great time.  It is lovely when someone posts one, but I feel that their repeat patronage is much more important than a review.

Some rely heavily on it and do encourage/ask clients.  That is what works for them, and I think thats awesome too.

Some insist that there are no reviews ever for a variety of reasons.

There is no right or wrong way to do it, just like their is no right or wrong way for someone to pick out who they think would best for them.  But I agree that due diligence is needed.  Do they have a website?  Twitter?  Have they been around a long time?

And regarding your question about why would they be advertise if they have regulars?  Look at the ladies that have oodles of reviews with high scores, they still advertise.  Often

...regional ad board. Chances are they will be reviewed. If they aren't they soon will be by participating here.
Using TER I have far more ladies on my To See list than I'll get to. While you can find excellent ladies on BP it's not nearly as easy as here.

I would honestly avoid BP especially as a newbie. Too many unknowns. I'm relatively new myself, and using only TER and VIP membership had a fantastic time with my first two providers. I'd say I did probably a week's worth of research each time, comparing providers, reading reviews/seeing how many they had/making sure the reviewers had more than 1 review posted, figuring out timing etc, but both times were great and exactly what I was looking for/expecting.

Hey newbie here doing some provider research. I was just thinking about everyones opinions on providers personal website.
Any tips on reviewing them and does it matter if they have a crappy site? just wondering !
