I often don't know if something is acceptable or not.There's a provider I've been wanting to see who visits a city near me every four to six weeks. Each time she's in that city, I learn about it too late. I don't think she runs her ads far enough in advance, as I log in on TER once a day but don't see her ads until it's too late.
Anyway, I filled out the reservation form on her site, and for date and time I put "noon, any day that you're in Metropolis". I gave references, name, cell #, email, etc.
I've booked with touring providers before, but never tried to book before a date was advertised.
Is there a better way to do this?
No harm in contacting her ahead of time and asking for an appt when she is going to be in town again.
Some don't need to advertise as much. I barely advertise unless going to another city. She comes into town often so she may very well have plenty of regulars.
