Saw the thread below and got to thinking the only way TER can avoid fake reviews is to get rid of the free membership offer based on reviews.

Traffic Generation 101:  That's the primary scamming method visitors will use is when you give something away of value in exchange for postings.  And when it is offered, the 'freebie' websites will post it on their lists so you end up with all sorts of riff-raff posting useless crap on your site just because they're looking for the freebie... they don't care what it is or if they use it.

It might take care of a portion of them, but for a B&S agency, a couple of hundred dollars for several staff members is a cheap price to pay to post a slew of phoney reviews for their stables. Additionally, because of the very nature of the "industry paradigm", the dynamic will always include a percentage of phoney, or vengeful reviews.
While your idea has merit, and certainly would cut down on the sheer quantity of made-up reviews, I don't see any clear path to eliminating them altogether.

I have about 10 reviews, and get my VIP this way.  I don't make them up, and would be upset if I lost the valuable info available to me this way.  I can afford the membership, but would rather spend it on the women.  Besides, it's just more to funnel out of the house for somrthing I can't explain.  Also, without volumes of reviews, what would a VIP have to read?

Don't punish the good, because there's a few bad out there.  That's the governement's job.

to my earlier point regarding reviews. That's why it pays to do our homework and make our decisions based on several points of research and not just reviews and number systems. I agree with the previous posters, as long as there is a reward that encourages reviews and then the subjectivity that's inescapable, there will always be some degee of inaccuracy. Not a perfect science by any stretch of the imagination, just another piece of info.

It is only a problem if it can be demonstrated that considerable number of reviews are fake as a result of this policy.  What is your estimate of the fraction of TER reviews that are fake? If only 10-15 % are fake it should not significantly affect your perception of lady if you do your homework as well as read most of the reviews of a well reviewed lady.  All of us are aware of this potential abuse of the TER system and will not base our expectation on just one or two TER reviews. I may be naïve but I think the major incentive for most reviewers (on all boards) is to reward the good ladies and warn fellow hobbyist of the bad ladies.

It might reduce the number of fake reviews but I agree, at least TER should stop offereing a free membership. I wonder how many of VIP members originally paid to become the VIP member and pay to renew it..

I am not a paid member on The other BoarD as I feel I do not fit in there for some reason but when it comes to reviews, I respect the fact that:
1) they do not offer a free membership by submitting reviews (although there are still some suspicious reivews)
2) they do not have a summarized profile of each provider (useless and misleading in many cases)

If I could borrow this space, I would suggest TER to consider the followings below:
1) stop offering the free membership
2) Remove the service content (the section only VIP members can access) from the profile. Instead, show the service reported by each reviewer in their review independently and let US summarize it ourselves. I belive many of us do this manually.
3) Show if the reviewer is a paid member (Flame intended)
4) at last but not least, stop rejecting reviews because there is not enough explicit details. Let us write as we wish.

Hope you dont reject this post!!

Good list. You have to run an honest business if you expect to have lasting success.  The internet is great for businesses because they can get instant customer feedback.  Reader  complaints should be the first sign of trouble.  It's up to the business owners to take that  information and be constructive with it.

The VIP or "service" section is of vital assistance in selecting the right girl.  Just do a good job and you won't have to worry about poor reviews.  Most guys who actually DO SEE a provider write honest reviews.  Its the guys who just want to glom a free membership that write BS.

The service section is of great source of information and what I was suggesting was to let us see it in each review separately, rather than the one that is summarized by someone else. Many of us spend a lot of time reading many reviews back and forth, and finally make our own decision / judgment. So what is the point in having the summarized possibly inaccurate info?

That review was written in revenge for a session that was not to his liking...  ie, she did not put up with an abusive client.  With respect to B&S, I had a great session with a provider provided by an agency in my town that is known for B&S, however, my particular session was great.

What I would not like to happen is for someone else to try to arrange for a session with the same provider - and have a B&S run on them - and then they pull my good review because of the B&S run by the agency on the gal... does not seem fair to the lady...

It is difficult to evaluate this stuff - cause we all have different views of what a 10 is!  We also walk into the room - and a certain chemistry kicks in.... whether we want to admit it or not YMMV is in full play - each and every time...

As several have said, use multiple reviews- and I even look to see what the average score is for the gent providing the score - that is if the guy has seen 10 providers and has given an average of 7 for all 10, then his "c" level is 7...  and if he rates the lady in question a 9, that is high praise indeed, however, for Gents like me, who average 8.2-8.4 - you may find yourself disappointed with my 8 - !!  Anyhoo, the solution is to read the review.  I have seen several reviews that described all the activity I am interested in, describe the lady as wonderful, beautiful, but then give her a 6 or a 7 for a score... so, don't know what gives...

Hobby well, hobby safe, hobby long....

And, they don't have any bonus for reviews written.

There is no complete solution to fake reviews.

It is far better to have the resources, even with the knowledge that some reviews are fake, than not to have review sites at all.

End the reward system of VIP membership for review writers.  This encourages fake reviews.  Require that all members pay for VIP membership in order to be able to post and see full reviews. Even with RoadRunner high speed access, going through multiple reviews of a lady is time consuming.  I enjoy and am glad we have TER as a resource and a service.  But a few changes are needed for improvement.

This little ole' provider thinks the ones that are false will find any means possible to continue. They'd borrow the money if necessary, to join and harrass.
