.....that would not be appropriate to wear when walking through a hotel lobby, I arrive dressed, and ready to play.  I usually wear stockings/garters/bra, a dress, or business suit, heels (Manolo's; not Louboutin's), and carry a brief case, or small tote.

The only prep time I need is to light the unscented candles, and take a few items out of my bag.

...is there an unspoken rule that the time the girl needs to prep for the session (once she's in your room) counts against your session clock?

Since I started hobbying earlier this year I've gone to a bunch of incalls, but only once ever hosted outcall and that one time the girl's (absurdly long) preparations ate a significant chunk of my session clock which was frustrating...  But is that just the reality of an outcall?

Sure I didn't want her walking into my hotel in the middle of the afternoon completely dolled up with makeup, wearing a tight dress, and showing off her new louboutins because that would have set off all kinds of red flags.  But on the flip side the incognito state she showed up in required all that time for her just to get decent for our session.

So is there actually some sort of protocol regarding a girl's prep time at an outcall?  I'd be interested to hear what the vets have to say.

(also, sorry for the alias, but I don't want to call out the girl from my story

First off, no need to apologize for using an alias.  Secondly, the provider knows what she's doing so it shouldn't be significantly taking away from your time.  The last couple of times I hosted (been a long time) she was in bathroom for maybe five minutes...in and out.  She showed up at door in tight jeans and a sweater.

Hobby on!

shortly after arriving at your room.  A few minutes should not affect your session, but if she takes too long before she is ready to play, you should be given a good portion of that time as playtime.  I do agree that a provider doesn't want to attract undue attention in arriving at your hotel, but your time is your time with her, and should be honored.

Admittedly, I do not have experience in hosting outcalls in a hotel room, but some common sense should prevail in her prep time.

his is no different than when you visit at lady at her location and you ask to freshen up or shower. She would expect you to be in out in 3-5 minutes. If you were in there for 10 plus minutes, the lady would be getting annoyed and start counting your prep time against you.

You really should expect the same from the lady when she visits you. I am not sure how you define an absurdly long time (I am assuming 15 minutes plus), but it really should be a quick transition from discreet outward attire to something more suitable for a session. If she is taking 1/2 your  time in the bathroom, you have a right to be agitated. Should never happen.

Stick with well reviewed ladies. They will be the most giving of their time and you will not be cheated. If you choose the right lady for the date, by the end of your session, you won't even remember her prep time getting ready.

This kinda stuff can usually be found out by reading the reviews but more likely bc by pm.

If she bolted right at the second your appointment was to end, and not extending it to account for the lengthy bathroom time, make sure it gets in your review of her.

First off unless it's a motel or some retirement home, seeing a well dressed woman walk in shouldn't set off any suspicion. Maybe it also depends on location... but here in NYC people would be more suspicious of a woman NOT dolled up with designer shoes/bag and bold dress going into a nice hotel. Even if she did need a different outfit to be inconspicuous, it takes all of 2-3 min to strip out of some jeans and a sweater and into a sexy dress or w/e it is. Even a shower to freshen up shouldn't take more than another 2-3 min.

The only reasonable way a provider can take more than 10 min to ready up is if you had some very specific requests (BDSM outfit, cakeface makeup, etc) that she can ONLY prepare once she's in the room.

Benefit of the doubt, she could've had a wardrobe or make-up mishap that added to her getting ready time.  That shouldn't use up your time though.

And I'm guessing she's young.  A 30 year-old woman can walk into a hotel looking ultra sharp and that's just normal; a 22 year-old, not so much, especially during the day but going for an evening/polished look.

Bottom line, maybe some girls legitimately need a bit to get ready, but that shouldn't eat up your time.
