In an exhibition of local civic pride, one of our local hobbiests (hmmm, who could that be?) dared to post a pro-Timberwolves note on the LA board. Check out the LA board to join the fray and lend support to the Wolves.
Nice job randy-man. it's time to dish out some flagrant fouls and elbows on the LA board.
It'll be interesting to find out how many Laker fans actually think that the Lakers were named after the LaBrea tar pits. Duhhh, oh my gawd dude..... do we have any lakes in L.A. aside from the vast empty lake bed of our shallow sports knowledge?!

As a long time Lakers fan (30+ years (an odd situation for a guy from Texas to be sure but there was no NBA in Texas when I was young)), I feel I should note the following
1) Go Lakers!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2) The only question left is whether it ends or 5 or 6!
3) The Wolves have done better than I expected against LA. They don't have the overall team yet but they have the heart because they have never given up and keep fighting. Another year and some improvement at center and they could be the favorite. I haven't paid that much attention to KG before this series but having watched him these past four games he is very deserving of his MVP award; I can't believe some Minnesota fans have had the nerve to criticize him.
4) I read the posts on the LA board. Someone slammed our local ladies. I will defend the ladies here in Minnesota against anyone. Minnesota ladies are fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. I'm also a 30+ years Dallas Cowboys fan so I'm sure all you Minnesota fans really hate me now!
.....that's right. It's over for you guys and your MVP hasn't done crap in this series to help his team win. Respectable numbers yes, but MVP numbers...no way.
You guys are just jealous.....Enjoy your winter, I'll be at the beach.

Jealous, ummmm.....Minneapolis enjoys winters on a beach in places like Cancun, South Beach, Oahu and Jamaica for a portion of our well earned winter holidays. Where the hell would you be spending a winter beach holiday in L.A.? Newport Beach..Long Beach, Zuma, Santa Monica 55 degree water temp, cold damp sand, full wet suits with a pile of blankets in the trunk of your car....yeah, we're jealous allright.
I would have assumed you'd be spending some time in those tropical paradise locations where us T-Wolves fans hang out but the last time I checked....California was broke and you still have that $2000 a month car lease payment on that "bitchin ride", and the $500 rent due for that apt in the valley.
Ooops...I forgot, we're jealous.
So your saying the beaches that we all can TRAVEL to are better than our beaches?? OK, whatever.
If you are implying that I don't make enough money to travel to those places, then you are just trying to be mean. I may pay more for my home here,(that;s right, not rent in the valley, but a home) but it's all relative.
I was just making a comment about weather and fueling what I thought was becoming a friendly basketball rivalry, you TRIED to get personal. Sounds like someone has a little pent-up anger. let it go man, be a good human!

My bad buddy....wasn't meant to be specific or personal but rather a generalized statement about California existence. The LA Board had some yoyo's posting banal comments and I was generalizing and was misdirected at you in specific.
My apologies S-Head...I'm always game for some board smack but I try to keep personal issues out. Its all in fun and it wasn't specific towards you.
