so let's say (hypothetically, natch) there's a guy about whom could be said all of the following things:
-adult services epicure of fairly long and presumably at least decent standing
-recently relocated to this area from home (both his and his trusted providers') far, far away for cohabitation with SO
-all local acquaintances via SO
-able to trust neither SO nor friends introduced by SO in the provision of character reference for this particular pursuit
-told himself he was hangin' up the old spurs upon arrival here in light of cohabitation thing
-tumbled back into the massage parlor world (half-measures, &c.)
-nostalgia for the old full-service life metastasizing geometrically
-for reasons he'd be willing to elucidate just a little but clearly not a lot, pretty thoroughly unwilling to disclose employment information (not like he's a cop or anything even remotely close, so there's no moral hazard type quandary at play w/r/t shared risk and also not naive/self-obsessed enough to think any of these women have any interest at all in kamikazeing his personal life-- just a thing into which he'd rather not go too far)
-for reasons hopefully self-evident, eg quality/safety/security, would prefer to avoid the whole BP miasma
and but so! to the point: our (otherwise pretty normal) man here is in a new place in which he has no friends to vouch for him, no relevant references personal or professional to offer, and for all intents and purposes no shareable employment verification to tender in his search for a decent service provider-- most all of whom require (as is their totally legit prerogative) at least one of the abovementioned. what if any are his options?

You mention your "trusted providers" are far away. Dude, we have email and phones to make the world smaller. Why will they not provide references for you?
You have two reviews. Read them. Yep, they'll give you references. I'm sure providers reading those are desperate for you to call them. 
You can do what damn near everyone else does and use a verification site like P411 or Date-Check. Gina at P411 can offer creative ways to verify you.
Or, as you say, you can troll BP. But... many BP gals are not good references. No slam on BP here, there are many great providers who advertise there, but they are outnumbered by the bad IMO.
Do all that, and you still will not be able to see a lot of Ladies that will require a bit more info that you refuse to share. You just have to deal with that.
Quite honestly, if you aren't willing to screen or get verified in any way... no one should see you. It is unsafe and stupid to do so.
