Just wondering about using a credit card for a provider. Has anyone done this? How does it appear on the statement? Does anyone know whether and (in what form records) are kept by the credit card company? What else should I be concerned about?
I would appreciate any recommendations for Chicago-area providers who accept credit cards, Paypal, or other alternatives to cash. For example, I I heard of one provider in another city who accepts gift certificates from certain stores (Target, etc.) instead of cash, so the client can use his credit card.

You should just look for a lady with her own site that takes cards and then you can ask her how it will appear.
The only ladies I have used have all had discreet billing, most through private merchant services.

How it appears on your statement completely varies based on what the business name is that runs the card. Most agencies/indies have some sort of DBA name which is different from their advertise name, and that is what will show up on your statement.
The biggest things you need to worry about are if the agency or lady is less than reputable you always run the risk of them charging up a storm on your card. Second is the paper trail, if they ever get busted, LE can and often does, secure their credit card records and boom, your anoninymity is gone if this happens. It doesn't necessarily mean your gonna get busted by LE too, but the paper trail is always there.
