The provider I'm seeing had a session set up with one of her other regs after me. No problem. We're usually done before her next reg shows up. As we we're getting dressed her next scheduled reg shows up 15 minutes early. Now she's in a bit of a panic. I told her I'd be out the door. She told me not to leave. So I sit quietly on the couch. She opens the door. Her reg sees me sitting on the couch. She explains to him that I'm a service contractor looking to do a repair on her apartment. Later that day she explains to me that she had to use that excuse because if her reg found out that I'm also a reg, he would not see her and she'd lose out on making money. Guess some guys like to think they're the only ones a provider is seeing. Or at least have the illusion of being the only one.

I can see her without running into her other clients. This was one of those rare occassions that this happened. So she wouldn't lose out on making money I just did what she told me and went along with her excuse. She called me that same day to explain what happened. We've become good friends. So she tells me what's going on in her private life and working life.

One morning after an overnight in a burb north of Chicago I came down to the parking lot to find my rental car gone.  I had it parked in the visitors' area and she had even called the management company the night before because she had heard tales of woe about the overly aggressive towing company.

In any case, the car was towed.  She drove me to the tow lot.  I complained that my car was parked legally but the yahoo at the tow company had the nerve to show me a photo of the car in a no-parking area.  Obviously they had moved my car there and took the photo so now I knew they were full of shit.  

At this point the gal went full bore ape shit on them to the point they were threatening not to release my car.  Keep in mind I had to be at O'Hare in about an hour.

I finally managed to calm her down and get my car, but boy, it was a day to remember.

I did write to the police in her town to complain but never heard a word back.  Big surprise.

It was early in my hobbying career. She always showed up, but was sometimes late, sometimes forgot to confirm until the last minute. On the plus side, as you might already guess, she was not a clock watcher. So we had 90 minute dates that went almost three hours and she would refuse to take extra money for it.

I say it was early in my hobbying, because there is no way I would do most of that now.

At the end of one date there was a guy knocking on her door. She told me to sit still, that it was a friend and he would wait. We were done, over the time (probably a lot) and I was getting dressed. When I left there was this guy standing on the sidewalk in front of the house next door looking at me. Creepy, but that it was it, nothing worse.

Her story got a little more dramatic after that - she told me she moved in with some guy, became really unreliable, told me that living with him was getting really stressful. Anyway, I stopped seeing her. I did see her once more, a few months later, in her new place. She said she had broken up with the guy. A little while after that she retired, said she moved back home (either New Jersey or Nebraska, depending on when she was telling the story - I saw some pictures that looked a lot more like Nebraska, but who knows). That was the last I heard of her.

Nice girl, though I think she had a serious drinking problem. Like I said, there were a lot of things about this experience that I know better than to do now. Instead, I always make sure that I only do new stupid things. Fortunately there are lots I have yet to do.
