I wrote my second review for a new provider (my first was for one who was established here) and it was "unapproved". The auto-message said something along the lines of "since you have few reviews and she has none, we can - from time to time - un-approve". Strikes me as a chicken-egg thing. How am I to get my amount of reviews up if they're disapproved and, for that matter, how is she supposed to get hers up? I guess they may be protecting against provider aliases, but I'm not one.

I shot a message to TER Central asking why, but have gotten no response as yet.

What I posted was legit. Any tips on how to proceed?

...so maybe they are being more diligent now. It's for several reasons. You mentioned one. Others are pimp or boyfriend posting a shill review that has nothing to do with reality. Then too some simply make up reviews to get the free VIP. Since you have one and need another to get your VIP activated they may be considering that. (I know you may have paid for VIP so that would be evidence in your favor when discussing it with TER as I stated below.) Your situation is the almost perfect case of you have one review, she has none. When someone with many reviews submits one for her you can resubmit yours or when you review another established provider and TER posts it you can resubmit this one. It's a pain in the ass but there is a reason.

There is the route you took which is discuss it with TER. You may be able to convince them especially if you have any other corroborating evidence that she and/or you are legit.

Thanks. I don't even care about the free VIP (frankly, I didn't know that was available). Maybe that's the exact wrong thing to say, but there it is.
Do you think I should ask TER to contact the other provider I reviewed to prove I'm legit? Or have her contact them?

I don't think that either of those actions will make a difference.  As xyz23 pointed out, TER works diligently to try and do the right thing.  His suggestions are your best bet.

Thanks. I guess I'm caught in a perfect storm of newbie-ness. I don't care for myself, but I would like to help her get established. I'm neither a pimp or an alias. Just frustrating.

same thing happened to me and i don't get it. SHE'S the one who even told me about this site!!
and where i'm at there's not a lot of providers, esp on here. not even sure if/how soon i would even see another provider. however it's not fair to her to have to wait so long for a review!
