A good place to start is reading the self-help center and reading back a few pages here on the newbie board.
Using your regional ad board to post a free weekly ad can help generate interest as can posting on the photo only board and joining in the discussion on your regional discussion board.
After you have done some reading, come back and ask any specific questions you may have about making the most of TER, it can be a very good resource.

but I would just suggest mingling on the local boards. Also offering discounted to TER review members.
Don't forget to get your reviews linked to your profile when you get them.
Also the Whitelist is an option us girls have to vouch for the guys and keep each other safe. Its a great screening tool to keep you safe.

When I saw the ad and photo, I commented on it. My initial response wasn't posted. I guess they didn't like the verbiage. I had to alter it for the second attempt, which was posted.
