i (sorta) respect people's choices in this and other matters. afterall, it's a FREE country if not an entirely "free" TER! 
i once started a lengthy and heated debate on this issue on the NY Board, on which i was the most out-spoken and virulent defender of the (slight) priority of those who contribute to the database ... btw that's my only POV or beef, the database ... i'm aware and appreciative of folks posting informative and timely announcements to the boards
believe me i have no reason to relive the animus of that previous episode on NY(Board)PD! ... if anything i'm becoming more and more understanding of the "plight" of the non-reviewers ... but what i find hard to swallow, is non-reviewers who intimidate and boss around supposed "newbies" (but let's not go there and rehash all the nonesense)

the difference between me doing it and others doing it (surreptitiously) is that i make sure people KNOW it's me (perhaps not so much yet on this board) ... moderators on National and other boards (like GND, thirsty, etc) already know this ... in fact Girl Next Door (GND) has already posted the operative policy which is: it's ok if its done for humourous purposes (by interpretive extension: when it's obvious who it is)
but if folks here prefer a more straight-up (and humourless) approach, i'd be happy to abide by the accepted standards & practices of PSE boards (especially like "other" ones!) ... far be it for me to break any "rules" (it would be the end of civilization as we know it!

so perhaps the "choose-not-to-reviewers" should consider themselves lucky in the 1st place that TER even gives them access to the database details that the blood-sweat-n-working-tears of others has created ... beyond this inequity, there's an even more egregious one: non-reviwers actually SAVE MONEY from using this database, in essence they PROFIT from reviewers' costly mistakes/triumphs ... so, are they our "equals" ? ... you tell me!

while i agree with you guys that girls like Naughty Ali who have pages after page of stellar reviews may not *need* more reviews my question is does it *hurt* to add them? here's what i mean:
as absurdly anal as it seems, there are members here like Mathesar (and to a much lesser extent me) who do some statistical analysis on provider reviews (regression, mean scores, price/performace ratios, etc). Mathesar regularly posts these to the LA board and i think many of his fellow hobbyists find his reports very useful and informative (it helps them spend their money wisely). let's face it, this is an *expensive* hobby. i figure the average serious GFE hobbyist spends at least $1K/month and in some parts of the country that's the mortgage on a freaking house (not in Boston though, here that barely gets you closet space!
i know this sounds ridiculous to some of the ladies and perhaps it is, kinda like guys memorizing the stats on their favourite sports teams but i think that as long as you have something NEW to add it's worth doing it and in a way you owe it to your fellow brothers as well as the girls you like and patronize to do it.
when i joined TER i looked up a few of my ATFs and whenever appropriate added on iota of new information, whether to correct inaccurate statements or to give an alternative take on folks' descriptions of her, her education, her looks, etc ... this is why i make a point to add a TRIVIA section to my reviews to mention these things
too much information is NOT a bad thing as long as its TRUE and informative and adds to the knowledge base .. but then i think this was essentially the point lostronin was making, i'm just adding a variation on the argument, perhaps both pro and con!
