I use that website on a frequent basis, makes validating them much easier.

I would say 9 out of ten highly reviewed providers use BP as their main advertising platform. Even the ones that have other ads or their own website, it is out dated compared to the BP ad that they post daily. Why is this, is it a regional thing maybe? I am in Ohio. I have also noticed that when I search for reviews by city/state/ area code not all reviews come up. I stumbled upon a recent review on the regional board that does not come up under the search. Why is that?

Or more accurately it's something common in less urban areas where BP is virtually the only game in town

In any major market I would disagree vehemently that "9 out of ten highly reviewed providers" use BP at all, much less their main ad venue, more like "three in ten" in most major markets as many "high end" providers feel, rightly or wrongly, that it "cheapens the brand"

I don't discriminate against a woman simply because she has a BP ad, but nor do I scour the BP ads looking for providers. Of course I have the luxury of living in the major market of Dallas Texas, where there are literally hundreds of top quality providers available on P 411.

That is hardly true, I'd say just about anywhere.  I live in a reasonably large metro area in Florida, and very few highly reviewed providers use BP.  While I know some that do, they are usually closer to 3 out of 10 than 9 out of 10, and I think 3/10 might be a bit generous.

You can look anywhere, but you gots to do the research!!!!!

I tell you one thing.  That is why e.com was a critical resource because that was a more regionally oriented site and also was more reliable than BP.   That was a safe place to go where you could also read reviews too.

....DC, New York, and Miami post on BP.  I advertise on BP througout the country, and in DC.  I think part of the reason that many of us find success on BP , is that we subscribe to Sponsor Ads, which show on the right side of the page.

Most of travel dates find me through my ads on a site which can no longer be mentioned, and the rest find me through BP.  The roi is too great to NOT advertise on BP.

Ladies that are well reviewed usually include their review id in their ads/posts on BP.

and I find myself agreeing with Swim when he points out that my "3 out of 10" number is most likely too generous in the major markets, more like 1 or 2 out of ten is probably the more accurate number.

This doesn't mean that no reputable or even "high end" ladies don't advertise on BP, just that the 90% claim is ridiculous.

For the record, I don't mind a bit if a lady I am thinking about seeing gets 99% of her business from Back Page. As long as she has at least some reviews somewhere that I can find them, I am just fine with it.

...just trying to simplify. Explaining about BP is more difficult than saying stay away.

There are reputable ladies on BP. They are however much harder to find. You have to sift through the scams to find the gems. When helping newbies I recommend the easier route of using TER.

When BP is all you have because of the area you live in then like swim said you must do the researc.

I generally try to use as few search parameters as possible. TER search is not like google. You won't get results that are close or meet just some of your criteria; they have to be exact matches. Area code can be problematic because a provider in your area may have phone number from a different state. Even city can mislead sometimes. A provider may work in your area, but won't show up in searches if she's based in another city or if she's moved and her profile hasn't been updated. Still, you'll usually get 95% of what you're looking for.

This link allows you to compare BP providers who also have TER reviews:

I am in Ohio, and have been escorting for a few years now and have only two reviews, while some girls have multiple reviews in a few months. Perhaps just being on Backpage is scaring the men away (there are ALOT of BP frauds here in Cleveland). Perhaps its the guys not putting up new links or new phone numbers..i dunno. I am a newbie to the forum.

...since you said you have two reviews. If those two reviews are here on TER I recommend you contact TER using the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page and ask them to connect your handle (betty75) to your reviews. Once they do you will have a link posted with your handle every time you post on a TER discussion board. Guys can check that link and see about you. If you are looking to get more reviews that will help. Read the Self-Help Center to find out more about how you can use TER to your advantage. Ads here on your TER regional ad board are free. You can post one every seven days.

The Self-Help Center link can be found in the site map. Bottom of the page, click site map, look under Info & Policy. The Self-Help Center link is there.

in some areas.  But it's better to START with TER reviews.  As part of your research, you'll follow the links to where ever her ads are.  Even if an ad expires, you may recognize the providers in your area.
It takes more time to start with an ad venue & the search on TER by phone number, email address.
"Mini-reviews" are not consiidered reviews...  just an extra some guys do before they post a full review.  So they are not searchable as a "review."

It does take time to research who you want to see.
