Right down the street during the stings a bunch of robberies happened. Resources wasted on a non criminal issue imho.

Anne Arundel, Howard, and Montgomery counties have been more focused on underage solicitation in the past few months. I saw one recent article where under age sting was done in Columbia and 4 guys got busted. Statewide 46 guys were busted for underage solicitation.
The area is under scrutiny because of a shooting a few weeks ago at cheap motel. 2 people were shot and the female died at at hospital.
