Could be a few reasons but likely just one...

She had a better deal or was seeing someone she knew. Of course she could have gotten drunk or high (it happens with some people and that normally pops out in the reviews) or maybe she was telling you the truth. Regardless, I would just assume she is not responsible. If she was telling you the truth, she could have answered your correspondence, rather than wait 2 1/2-3 1/2 hrs later (sounds like she had an appt during that time). Don't get me wrong, maybe she was laying down during that time and not checking, who really knows. She wanted to still get your money, hence the see you tomorrow line.

Hey, it happens that she may be telling the truth, but just sounds fishy.

I set a date and was screened a few weeks ago for tonight. About 2:00 I get an email asking to move the date up an hour or two.   I say ok to moving up an hour. Then less than 2 hours before the new date time she emails to say her stomach isn't feeling great and wants to reschedule for tomorrow. I reply that I am checking out of my hotel and going home to another state in the morning.   She replies that she is taking meds but it feels like it's something she ate. All these emails are an hour before date time.  Since then, nothing. I emailed a couple times to check on her but no replies and we are at 90 minutes past date time.
Does this sound legit or a blow off?

it sucks, but it happens.  Best advice, not move you can do, sorry pal.  Move on.

That's what I think too. I was booked for two hours but maybe there was a better deal. It sucks as its one thing to get rejected in civvie life by a girl but when she wont even accept the hundreds of dollars she says is her rate it's depressing.

I just got a email that she feels worse as the night goes on and had taken a nap.  I want to believe her but I won't schedule her again unless it's short notice. No more plans.

My suspicion is she bumped you for a regular customer, solely because her initial reaction was to move up the time.   But I'm really guessing.
It's up to you, if you want to risk another opportunity (hard to get for some of us) or if you want to give her another chance.  She did at least cancel, so you might have possibly booked with someone else.  Or you can just move on.

I'm certain you could find someone on short notice.

Post an ISO.

Shit happens.  At least she gave you a bit of notice. Always have a back up plan/list. I would have been checking my list when she said she wasn't feeling well. No need to make contact, just narrow it down to a few ladies you could contact

Thanks but the city is not an escort buffet like LV or NY or others, not a ton of great options on short notice.

That really sucks. I can understand if she was really sick, but why keep changing times when she obviously knew she wasn't going to meet with him. I feel the same rule should apply to both client and provider that there should be a window of time to cancel since the client also has set aside the time to meet also.

How about I had 2 cancel within a week apart! After being contacted several days prior to the date, after screening and a few conversations the first says his daughter was in an accident about 2 hours before we were to meet. I understood and couldn't imagine someone making up something like that. But when only a few days later (as I literally was on my way a day early *2 hour trip*) I get an email stating he wasn't sure if we could still meet because his sister is in ICU after a car wreck. Now I thought to myself, I said self! how ironic is this...could it really be possible for such awful things to have happened back to back or am I just being played! I hate to think people would use this reason as an excuse...terrible coincident or poor taste in cancelation methods!?

That sucks!  I am sorry to hear that I hope your attendance gets better

Since I posted last, she and I have had a lengthy email chain.  I tend to believe her as she says she wants to see me still and promises to make it right.  If she was blowing me off, I think she would not have replied to the emails that much.

Her story is getting flimsy though.  She's stopped replying to emails to schedule a time to meet and I've thought on her story and the request to move up the time was so she could let her dogs out but then she said later she took a nap to help her feel better.  Couldn't she have let out the dogs before or after the nap?  I think she got a "better" offer.  That's ok if you are a cheap date but for the rates we were talking I expected more.  Live and learn I guess.

A big thank you to the ladies that are not like this one.

Set another date / time.  (if you can afford to risk the opportunity.  Some times I've had big windows of several days...  other times a few hours.)   If she doesn't make it, move on.  I don't understand her game...  maybe you'll hear from her when the rent is due.

I've only had one gal...  well reviewed...   who left me hanging in the breeze...  I lost the opportunity because I was waiting for her call back.  I won't do that again
