First, keep in mind that LE are highly unlikely to agree to send an undercover officer to your house posing as an escort/masseuse/model because it's an unknown environment outside their control and poses too great a risk to their officer. This is being discussed in another thread already, but the gist of it is that while not impossible, it's highly unlikely. So once she's there you can be reasonably sure it's not LE. However, you are allowing a stranger into your home. There are a number of scams, for outcalls or incalls, and all them are worse when you're exposing your residence and family (if you are living with someone). LE is not your only threat.
Meeting for coffee first is an option, but you will be paying her regular price to discover something you can discover here for free (or much cheaper than her price). Whatever she charges an hour, even for a coffee date, will be more expensive than a hotel room in small town. If it's not, you really don't want to see her anyway. The point being that if she has no reviews here you probably shouldn't risk it. Of course this is all dependent on your tolerance for risk. Also, and this is another reason why VIP is important here, you need to make sure she has plenty of reviews and that her reviewers have written plenty of reviews for other providers as well (to weed out the fake reviews).New to this and I live in a small town. The Google check of the phone numbers is a helpful sign, but not beyond what LE can do, and of course even if they are not LE, they could be rip-offs or just not that good.
One thing you ought to do is to post on the local board that is closest to you and ask if anyone has seen these gals and can give them an OK.
It is tough when you are in the boonies and reviews are scarce, but you have to use all the tools you have to make sure you are safe.
Also, I would hesitate to see them at your house, especially for a first date. That is putting yourself too much at risk. Spring for a hotel.

I'd imagine they're advertising on BP for their location which is likely a larger city than what you're living in. That's the city you'll use in the search field here on TER to determine if they have any reviews. Use their city, name, and phone number and see what comes up. If nothing, you can try the regional boards and ask around.
Thank you. Follow up question. I am very new to this as you might tell. In my state, hiring an escort to do massage or modeling in your private residence is legal. If I am attempting to determine if a provider is legitimate, and not LE, would it be reasonable to contact the provider, hire them to do such modeling etc in my home as an way of getting to know them first? How about meeting them first over a cup of coffee? I would do this if not being able to find real reviews on them on the review sites. Does this make sense?

You should consider more upscale ad sites than bp.i guess I am not permitted to name them here but easy enough to find
Though I do post on bp I also post on other sites that are monthly ads some of which are more costly and proof of identity is needed if nothing else you know provider is not here today and gone tomorrow if they have a monthly ad.
I think that alone will reduce the number so scammers you will encounter
Anyone can screenshot a couple of pictures and pay a very small fee and post for a day on bp.
Without seeing reviews or other references you do not know who is behind the door
certainly plug in phone numbers. Check new reviews in the area nearest your location...
