Having done some research, I've noticed this occurring even from some well reviewed providers. Is this a red flag? Would appreciate some insight.
Excellent point for changing profile! I wish people would mind their own business, especially pertaining to consenting adults.

Having done some research, I've noticed this occurring even from some well reviewed providers. Is this a red flag? Would appreciate some insight.

They charge X under one persona and charge Y under the other then deny doing doing it, then ultimately being forced to cop to it all due to all the peeps confronting her with overwhelming evidence.

Sad when some gals, and they are in the extreme minority here, feel the need to go to such depths to use bogus and deceptive business practices. It just breeds mistrust bewtween providers and hobbyists that needn't be there.

Fortunately, TER finds out about it many times and combines the profiles so guys can make there own decisions and look into the reasons why a girl would do that.

Sometimes the reason is benign but many times not so much. Do your homework, do board searches, and pm her reviewers to see what chicanery she may be up to.

and come to think of it, we haven't heard from any of her three different personas for a while. Oh well, she'll be back. I can set a line on when if anyone is interested.lol

...so or else he doesn't have a clue how "TER finds out."  Maybe he thinks TER has a large staff solely devoted to combing the internet to find providers with separate names and profiles.

In reality, "TER finds out" thanks to hobbyists (and maybe some providers) who take the time to file problem reports in order to help their fellow hobbyists be fully informed and to keep the profiles accurate.

As someone that has months of free VIP from filing out those problem reports, I think I have it nailed down BP. But thanks for your concern about how things run around here.

+1000 I just joined and am setting up my profile, but many providers I knew in Fort Lauderdale experienced stalkers, threats and an agency 'owner' who abused the ladies there, with the Broward mugshots available. Screening would have saved these ladies a lot of physical harm. Eom.

Some gals like to reinvent there personas from time to time for the same reason that any manufacturer or performer likes to update their product and image.  People like what is new and fresh rather than old and stale.

Some gals also update their services, such as going from FBSM to GFE, or from GFE to BDSM.

Doing some research is the best way to overcome fears that they may just be trying to bury an unsavory past.

They may also be running away from a stalker or they may go from being managed to becoming independent.

The only time I've seen it is to because they moved to a new place and they're old bookers threatened their privacy

First thing that comes to my mind, is that she could have had trouble with a stalker, or have been 'outed' to people in her personal life. She'd need to change her name for safety reasons.

As others said, it could also be to avoid a bad rep, or play games with rates.

Sometimes it's just to rebrand. She's sick of being "Sarah" and/or feels that aspects of that persona no longer portrays the image she wants. Or maybe she was "Sarah" years ago, and when she came back to the biz, she had changed...so, she wanted to create a new persona to reflect who she'd become.

I believe it is often to re-brand and charge higher fees.
In addition, I think that sometimes providers run into someone they know or is too close to their circles and so they have to change persona and screening strategy to avoid being outed.

for the things they do.  If you see profiles with 2 or more handles on it, admin has connected them to avoid multiple profiles of the same provider.  About the only way that will happen is if someone files a problem report alleging that 2 profiles are of same provider, and they can verify the allegation.  Sometimes they can, sometimes they can't, or won't, namely they don't agree with the prob report.  I have had that happen to me.

What's more common is for a provider to have 2 profiles with the same handle.  The most recent reviewer is to blame, as he didn't make an effort to find out if she already has a profile.  IMHO, just lazy.

It may or may not be a red flag, just depends on the provider's situation as to why she changed her name.  Many times, as has been said, there is a very legitimate reason for the name change.  It may take some research to determine if it's a sign of no good or not.
