I'm going on a business trip and in it have arranged to see a phenomenal woman. She has great reviews on here, a legit-looking website and pages on p411and sugar nights. All good. My one qualm is that she didn't ask for any references - not that I have a problem in principle with this, but I just don't want to get robbed/beaten in my hotel room. Any thoughts on this?
...that would identify you. If you did she likely used it to screen you. If you didn't give her any information then that is unusual and would make me wonder too.
since you mention that she has a page there. If yes, she may have tracked you there - and you will be able to tell if she has (assuming you are a member as well)
I didn't - contacted through email. Name, but no phone umber (she doesn't give hers out either). But her p411 says she requires references - which she didn't ask me for. BUT all her TER reviews seemed really legit. (I linked the thru the reviews and they all were amazing, other than one or two average ones.)
If you have your settings in P411 to email you whenever a provider reviews your profile, you'll know when she looks at it. She'll need to review it to see who your okays are from. I always PM or sent a Pre-verify message through P411 to be sure the lady looks at it and then I get the email from the site that it's been reviewed
That's the point - I'm a newbie (to the verification process, not the hobby in general), so don't have a p411 profile. Just emailed her directly and she seems cool with it. Granted, my emails were very polite and well-written, but should I trust that? Again, her TER reviews are stellar, she has a personal website and a p411 page.
You should get on P411 asap then if you are intending on doing this more than once in a blue moon. It saves s lot of time for both the hobbyist and the provider.

Gentlemen, be careful when reading Sugar Night's. Most of us who have profiles on there, have not posted them; the site steals copy and photos from other sites, and posts. One ad of mine on there (hope it was finally removed) had photos of me from ten years ago! Trust, but verify.

Don't do any screening at all. If she has many reviews, P411 and has been around for a while you have very little to worry about.
If she is well reviewed you should be fine.
