I'm going to break my hobby cherry this upcoming weekend and want your thoughts.
I found a local girl who is very well reviewed here on TER. Well over a dozen reviews and they're all good.
I actually found her on BP and cross checked the phone number on TER. Everything matches. Name, photo, location.
She responds to txts well and setting up an appt was almost too easy. She's friendly and communicative. She advised that she doesn't discuss details over the phone, only in person. Another good sign.
It is going to be an outcall to a nice hotel of my choosing and I'll let her know the location the day of. She's down with driving to the outcall; that's normally how she does it.
That's pretty much it. She didn't ask for any verification from me or anything. Just quick and easy. Like I said, almost too easy.
As far as verifying you, providers have ways to do it that don't involve asking you personal information. If she is well reviewed, I would not be too concerned.

Was this all through email? If so, Maybe a PM through TER here just to prove she has access to her account. If she uses P411 (ask her if she does) then I'd have her PM through there too (this is assuming you have P411 and you should if not). If she doesn't use P411, I'd ask her how she verifies, especially a newbie without any references, etc. I always initiate contact through TER and/or P411 before moving to email or texting.
You're going to be nervous enough on your first try, so it's best to get that verification worries out of the way. I still have them and I'm not a newbie anymore.
With a dozen reviews, that's pretty good. Did you check the reviewers to be sure they have more than one or two as well?
If you want to PM me her TER ID, I'd be happy to look at see if I have any red flags that would concern me. My first was a BP lady too and I could kick myself for that lack of diligence I did back then. But, you're on the right track.
Apart from this, the usual good grooming, have your own covers in case she doesn't or she doesn't have your size.
It was through txt. The number I was txting is the same on her TER listing (with reviews) as it is on her BP.
Especially as to how to handle the envelope, and any other particulars that are important to know.

They don't like going places they aren't in control. Normally they place an ad to have as many guys come to them in a short period of time as they can.
The main thing is that she has 12 reviews. To make sure, go to her profile and click on some of the reviewers names. This will take you to a list of each reviewers reviews. Seeing that there are multiple legit reviewers who have given her a review give you a close to 100% chance she's legit.
As far as screening yourself, most girls that post primarily on backpage, who list their phone number there aren't going to do any screening. I know a well reviewed girl who was busted twice in the last month because of it. Many of them will ask "are you a cop?" which seems pretty useless to me. Some of them want to grope or be groped before any money is exchanged or services mentioned. I've visited probably 30 girls from backpage. Maybe 10 of them asked if I was LE. Maybe 5 of them wanted me to touch them first. None of them ever did any real screening. Conversely, the newbie friendly provider I visited from P411 did her own screening to make sure I was legit. Since then I have a couple okays there and haven't been directly asked for any screening information. As far as minimizing your chances of LE involvement, I think you're pretty safe. If you're fairly certain the girl is legit, doing an outcall is also helpful because it negates the opportunity for a cop to stake out a providers incall location which can happen. I suspect the only issue might be the girl's initial reservations about you, so have your money in an envelope in plain view so she doesn't need to mention it.
...Did you give her your name (first and last)? Did you give her your phone number? She can use those to check you out. Since you're a newbie you didn't have references so name and number is probably what she used if you gave her that info.
She had reviews. Sounds like you have VIP membership since you said they were good. Hope you read them and didn't just look at the scores.
