Ok So if I start a new thread in newbie or regional I dont put a link but if I post on the same thread there after I can? Is that right? lol Hope I understand! so like this responce back to you I could put a link but not on the original question I posted which I think I did opps yikes:)

So I know to add a link to ad boards, but I see the option to add a link if I respond to a post on newbie and regional boards. Do I add my link to my comments? Also want to know if I can post thoughts or topics in regional boards or if thats just for hobbyists?

-You can't post or comment on other provider ads
-You can't link to your site if you create a new thread (other posts after that can link to your site though)

Other than that, you can include a link to your site in every post you make in any board. Yes, you can post your thoughts on topics in the regional boards. No, it's not just for hobbyists.

Precautions:
-Don't try to make subtle ads
-Don't overdue the linking to your site, especially if you haven't updated it or added content

Yes, that is correct.

...You are not allowed to post a link to your information when you start the discussion but you can place a link when you reply to someone who comments on the thread you started.

Yes, you are allowed to start discussions and/or reply to discussions on any board on TER. We always encourage new ladies to participate in discussions on their regional board as a way to get known.

Ok this is starting to make sence so like now I can add my link. thank you this is very helpful

...that doesn't mean you should.  If I see a provider who links her website to every single post, I think she's trying too hard to get her name out there rather than just participating on the boards.

If your link is not in your post, I can still click "See My TER Reviews" under your name in your post.  In fact, I prefer doing that because I can see your profile and still go to your website rather than clicking your link and just being taken to your website.

Yeah I was thinking that was kinda annoying to put your link all the time. I rather just talk. If you wanta find me my name is right there lol:)

I agree that not linking your site on every post makes you look less like an "attention whore" who is constantly posting threADs.

I am sure I speak for many when I say I find it a bit of a turnoff when a woman looks like she is saying "pick me, pick me" with every post she makes. Sometimes "less is more", and I think you have the right approach.

and have had admin link your profile to your handle, you don't need to worry about whether or not you can add a link to your comments.  Any reader of your post can go to your reviews via the site link.

Any member is welcome to post on threads in any of the boards, as long as you follow the rules.  A previous post to this one mentioned what you can't do in post responding.
