cities within driving distance.  If the tour doesn't get enough bookings you can cancel without the loss of airfare weighing down your balance sheet.

Try posting a few weeks ahead to give guys that want to meet you a chance to set their schedule accordingly.

I have travelled all over this country (prior to and in this world). My recommendation is especially if you've never left AZ (I spent time there too) is to create a must see bucket list for yourself first.  While there are a ton of factors involved, first thing is to decide if this is a 'driving' or 'flying' tour. There is a very big difference there. Once you make that decision in just how big you'd like to jump, decide just where youd like to see yourself and map out and plan accordingly. There are gentlemen everywhere, it's just a matter of what you may offer that may be unique to the already existing pool of companions already providing there. You want to stand out enough to pique their attention to book an appnt. Rates and advertising research will have to go into play here as well (a whole other discussion lol).

But my personal recommendation would be to start small which could mean big considering your location. You're in a great area, competitive but plentiful. I would recommend a driving tour for you first that involves 4 or 5 places with a few hours drive around you...Vegas, San Diego, think of a big circle around you and hit a few of the smaller, less competitive towns in between (just be extra cautious if you go this route).  

Whichever you decide to do for you, there is alot of planning involved, expense and while it can be a bit daunting at first if you're not used to travel, it can also be a ton of fun being your own explorer as well as very educational. Just remember that no matter how much you plan, sometimes things don't always go as planned which you have to prepare for and have a backup to that plan lol. But if you're excited to travel, your appnts could essentially pay for that travel and you get to meet cool guys in other areas which could open up a whole other can of worms for you. And that's a good thing

HEY! i'm hoping someone who has been in teh game for awhile can give me some advice! I have been doing this for 2 years but still i have NEVER left AZ. I am starting to plan a tour and depending how good it goes i may never come back But im curious how do i decide where to start at? do i pick a state close to me? or do i post in other states and see where i get the most hits? What would you suggest??? Any kind of advice would be GREAT!
