If you don't have VIP, then you'll definitely want it so when you do find someone near you in the search results, you'll be able to learn if they're the type you want.

Oh, and there are a few "high class" ladies who occasionally use BackPage.  

Now I don't know if any still do, but  I used to notice (in smaller market cities) that there were upscale escorts with profiles on AFF.  You just have to know what sort of language to look for in those profiles.  I've also heard there are some on AshleyMadison as well, but that may or may not be true for your area.  Again, you have to read the profiles carefully.

Still fairly new to the hobby, and I'm just trying to find the best sites upscale escorts use to post their ads! I know about backpage (usually only local girls and NOT the high class kinds). Are there other places to find posts from escorts? What about traveling porn stars? Is it best just to search their individual sites? I live in a city not lush with prospects!

and P411. Always be diligent in your research, whether you use BP or another ad venue, knowing as much about her as you can before you meet is the best thing you can do for yourself.

Since some of them also have reviews. Different sites are popular in different areas in the country. Many folks say to stay away from backpage, but in some areas backpage is the best or only source. You already said you are in an area "not lush" with providers. You may have more limited choices, or you may have to tracel to see escorts. You can always google to find escort ad sites. The important thing is that whatever ad site you find them on, be sure to do research and look if they have reviews. Below are some sites I can mention.

TER: It's always good to start right here. Check reviews for your area and the regional ad boards. Unfortunately TER doesn't always work everywhere.

Backpage: You already mentioned it. Definitely be careful when using BP and research all you can. Image search the pixs. Google the phobe numbers etc.

P412, date-check, and rs2000: These are carification sites which help you with screening. They are also great to use as ad sites to find verified providers.

GLS, Slixa, myprovideguide: These are ad malls. As I said earlier, there are many others but some can't be mentioned on TER
