I've been on this site for a while and i was just wondering when will I get my first date?? I hope soon because I like this site.

Where are you, meaning which regional ad board are you posting on?

Your history on "this newbie board" only goes back 2 days.

Most guys are looking for well reviewed girls for safety though some like TOFTT but you can expect it to take more than 2 days.

Do you have a website? or other places you are advertising, P411, slixa?

But hardly enough for most searches. When she posted the other day, I actually remembered her post from months ago. (Unique name and a very similar "hello" post) :)

She actually has posts going all the way back almost a year, starting in March of 2014. It does seem a bit odd that she still hasn't gotten a TER date after all this time. She does have reviews on other boards.

You are correct of course about the default setting being 30 days. I usually just add zeros until I get to either 3,000 or 30,000 days depending on whether or not I think there is a possibility that what I am looking for is over 8 years or so old. It would not surprise me if you did the same, but only checked back 300 days which would have missed the posts from March, but would have found the others. tsk tsk lol

...a couple of 5's in front of the 30 to search back 5530 days.

I usually do the 3000 or 30000 thing too. It's easier than typing 365 or something like that. I must have missed typing an extra zero, but I did remember her name and the fact she had posted the same message before, which is why I searched in the first place.

I sometimes make shorter searches when I think that poster that I am searching for is very new, or when I don't want to get pages and pages of results, like what would happen if I did a message search for all posts made by the author PerfectStorm for instance.lol

using everything TER has to offer? Post on the the theme day threads, photo board and regional ad board. Joining the discussions on your regional board can give people a peek at your personality and make us want you.....

See the thread just before this one for some ideas of where to do so.

Have you got a website set up?  That's an important step as the better clients see that as a sign of being serious.

Don't get dejected if things take a while, just stay with it and in time things will come together if you have what it takes.

About Hawaii. Then you disappeared for months and came back with another hello a couple days ago. Have you ever posted on a regional board or posted an ad on the regional ad board? Posting a hello on the newbie board every 6 months is not the way to get dates. You need to post ads on the regional ad boards and join in discussions on the regional discussion boards.

I assume you are the Tatilove in the Modesto/Stockton area. If that's the case, your home board is the "Central Valley, CA" board. You can also use the San Fransisco board. Unfortunately those areas are not big TER areas. The board that got shutdown was big in that area. I assume (by your initial July timing here) that you were one of those displaced by that shut down board. Some providers from that site have successfuly made TER their new home, but many others have found other sites. If you want to make TER work for you, then you have to use its many resources correctly as DJ said.
Read the Self Help Center (I'm sure someone told you that back in July.) Post on the regional boards. Post ads on the regional ad boards. Post photos on the photo only board.

Use this newbie board to ask questions about the site or about the hobby, but not to try to drum up business.

Good luck.

Admin moved her OP to this board. She originally posted this on GD, it stayed up for maybe a half hour or less and then it was moved here.

Your advice still stands, GD is not the place to drum up business either, she should definitely be making these posts on her local regional board.

and next time you do a message search, remember to search further back than 300 days, her first posts were in March, not July.
