She had your profession, name, and age. That is more than enough with the services some ladies use. I agree with my wise fellow posters. You were screened.

Hi all, new here. I was hoping you could help with a question. I contacted a provider that has more than 10 reviews on this site, the oldest dating 2 years back and the most recent from last month. Most reviewers mentioned she screens, as usual. I emailed her and received a response from a different email address, with a different name, but the person who responded says she is the provider I contacted. In my first email I mentioned my profession, name, age and city where I live, but nothing else about myself. The provider made arrangements to meet me but did not do any screening whatsoever; she didn't ask a single question about myself. Is something off?

 Thanks in advance!

...didn't need anything else. No need for her to ask anything since you gave it up front. If she had wanted more she would have asked. I've never been asked anything. I give my first name, TER handle, and two or three references.

I'd be concerned about the different name and different e-mail.

I agree with xyz and Melissa. You were screened. Don't worry about it. On the other hand, as xyz said the different name and email is odd, and may be more reason for concern than the perceived lack of screening. On the other hand, many providers do change their names and emails for various reasons, or have multiple names and contact info.

Thanks for all the responses. Since I used a private email address (not my work email) I was thinking she couldn't know if I am someone pretending to be someone else I found randomly on the Internet. Maybe I am overthinking this.

As to the different email and name, what do you think is so concerning? Anything you would do to ease your mind in this context? Thanks again for helping out!

...about the name change. They may be able to give you some info. Have you read her reviews, especially the last two or three? Do they mention her name or a change?

If you don't have a VIP membership I recommend getting it so you can PM and read all of the reviews (general and juicey details). $30 for a month. If you have to you could cancel it before the thirty days are up so it won't automatically renew.

Thanks again for all responses. I do have VIP membership and PMd reviewers but got no response. A few additional odd details: her ad, which I had been looking at for at least 2 months, is no longer there and her website is down. I said I'd call one day prior to our date (and her ad said call or email and many reviewers said they spoke on the phone with her beforehand), but she asked for email instead as she would be busy the whole day. I was dying to meet this woman, but something seems off to me....maybe I should just find someone else I like....

...screens you for the provider.  When you're approved, the provider takes it from there herself.  Maybe that's what happened in your case.
