I'm sorry but what is the purpose of this? What do they do with your information? Only thing I can think of is that LE cannot work at another establishment and be a LE at the same time?
most don't require work info if you have other information. If you're new to hobbying and don't have references or a membership at p411/rs2k, work info is an alternative.
Personally, I could care less about where you work or what you do; I just want to know you are who you say you are. If that requires work info, then I may ask for it, but it's more of a "last measure" for me.
they know you are not LE. I think most will discard that info once your verification is complete. IMHO, you would be better off giving that info to a verification site like Preferred411 rather than several providers.

How does verifying work info help you determine someone is who they say they are? Also why do they need my name? why cant i give an alias. im kinda nervous my work will know whats going on and reputation is gonna be ruined
What does a provider do when they get your work info?
...with your name and work info, they can do a little research and verify that you are indeed who you say you are. Some will call and use an innocuous cover to see if you really do work there. If you have a direct line, great. If not, and someone else answers they'll ask to speak with you and if asked what they are calling about, will say something like... They are calling from Dr. So & so's office to confirm an appointment.
Now that said, you are right to be nervous and there are other ways to be verified. Some will accept references from other gals, or you can join a verification site, like Preferred 411. Once they verify you (you will have to provide work info or some other means to assure them you are an upstanding guy) you can use that as verification. Most ladies accept that, but there are some that will require more beyond that.
Verification is a touchy subject and each party needs to do what they feel best to minimize their risks. It is always a balance between the ladies needing to feel safe and the guys desire to remain as anonymous as possible.

is save it, regardless of what they may assure you. And some providers don't have advanced degrees in encryption. Your info could even be on hard paper, stuffed into a desk drawer like the bust that occurred last year somewhere in the mid-West as I recall. I bit the bullet and gave work info to P411 after they told me exactly how they would verify the info discretely, and that's the only place that I plan to share work info with. FYI P411 is run outside of the USA and therefore presumably less at risk of having its records subpoenaed from here.
It is not so much that a LE agent will have a second job... it is that a company will cooperate with LE and validate an agent or officer's cover. That is why work verification alone is not foolproof. A multi-layered screening/verification process is necessary.
Invest in:
1. A new username. Anything with "Thug" is going to close (slam) doors on you. How many ads have you seen that say "No Thugs"? Then again, if you see yourself as a "thug life" kind of guy... please keep it. I like these gals and appreciate your candor.
2. A P411 verification (or Date-Check or RS2K, depending upon where you hobby). Better to give up personal info once and not every time you contact a gal. Life is too short and this world is too small. Get verified, get a few references from "newbie friendly" providers and voila... life is easier and less frustrating (and less risky).
3. Providers that meet your needs. If a provider asks for info you are not comfortable giving... move on. Everyone has a different threshold for this. Some are "bomb-proof" and completely out about hobbying, and others are at the opposite end of the scale. YOU get to choose (at least to the point where you can actually secure a "(date"). Having references from a few very well-known and reputable providers is a fairly safe bet when giving up your information, and may well pay future dividends.
Be patient. Listen to advice. Have fun and be safe. It is not that difficult

But I'll add my voice to this advice too to reinforce it.
P411 gave me my start, and I haven't looked back.
And I've been able to stick to my comfort level (which is to stick with ladies who do not require personal info for screening).
I've never had to give employment info to a provider and if you start by seeing women who are newbie friendly, you shouldn't have any problem seeing who you want to see subsequently. At least I haven't.
