When a provider lists her donation, as i understand it you give that amount to her up front. However, is tipping like at a restaurant where its suggested only if the service was good but in reality its pretty much mandatory , i.e. you'll be considered a cheapskate if you don't, or is it truly something you only do if the service was above and beyond. (will a provider be a bit pissed if you leave without tipping?)
Unless of course it's an agency girl at around the $200 mark (or god forbid less), IMO. Those poor things still need to be taught they can make money doing this.

The ladies already make a VERY fair wage, but some women go above and beyond the call, and some of them really deserve a bit extra, especially as SYW mentioned, they are towards the bottom of the hooker wage scale.
A $200 hr hooker working for an agency will be lucky to pocket a hundred bucks for her efforts. That's a whole lot of fucking required to make any kind of a living. IMO even "decent" service warrants a tip in those circumstances. OTOH if an independent gal is charging $500 hr, she has already determined how much money she needs to charge as an independent businesswoman, and tipping her would be more like tipping your attorney, which I have done before, but only for extraordinary service.

As DJ said, one of the best tips is a return visit. She knows she did her job and that you left her happy. As Devin said, while tipping is always appreciated, pretty much all providers do not expect it. You can always take gifts like I do, you can get some candle sets very reasonably priced. Haven't had them turned down yet.
