And even she cant say if the two guys she asked were lying.

Thank you for the WK though. I had a feeling it might be you. ;)

I have disputed several reviews over the years.  Sometimes TER agrees that they are fake and shouldn't be allowed and sometimes they let them stay.  So far I have been satisfied with TERs investigations.   I haven't always been happy with their decisions, but I have felt like they tried to do the right thing. Not this time.

I went to NYC in April with my family  and that was the only time I've been there 2016.  Because I was there with my family I only saw two people one day while my family went out for dinner and to a play.  The review popped up in July and wasn't pre-dated for April.  I contacted both of the people I saw and they both denied writing the review.  I tried contacting the reviewer who never replied to me.   I presented all of that information to TER.

They quickly decided in favor of the reviewer, who has maybe 15 reviews already up.

It wasn't a bad review, I just don't believe it Should be allowed.  I've had a 10/10 review removed that I thought was fake.

Maybe I did meet with the reviewer, but not in 2016, unless one of the two clients were lying and I really don't think that they were.

It makes me angry.  I feel like my side of the story was more factual.  I only saw two people. It wasn't hard to figure out that they didn't write the review, and if they didn't write it it was more than seven months old, or fake.  I felt like all The reviewer had to do was just lie  about when we met and they believed him over me.   I honestly don't even feel like they ever took enough time in replying to consider that I might have a point, and they didn't treat me like I had a legitimate concern.

I know they have to make a decision and I'm sure people complain about their reviews all the time.  Even if they couldn't decide in my favor, I would've appreciated a little bit more respect and consideration.  That would have gone a long way with me in this situation

I would think that the reviewer would need to provide some sort of evidence that he saw you when he claimed to have seen you, e.g. an email or PM confirming the date.

Did you ask the two clients you saw that day if they would mind if you forwarded their communications about not reviewing you to TER?

I know some of these cases are tough calls for Admin to make, but this doesn't seem to be a tough call based on what you've told us.

I forwarded copied and pasted replies in which they denied writing the review.

Is that what TER Asks for?  Emails or some kind of proof?  I've never known what they do on their end of it.

I would love to think that they got some kind of proof, but how could they have?  I'm going to ask them about that. Maybe they will tell me.

Thanks for your support.

so at least take heart that there is no real damage done.

In the regular legal system, our company occasionally has to fight in court to get our money.  There was one case where we had so much right and evidence on our side, it should have been a slam dunk, but we lost, even appealing all the way to the state supreme court.

But then we won a big case once which even I thought was totally garbage, and won big time.

There's no telling about these things

I had a valid argument and they never specifically addressed ANY of my issues, concerns, or points. They blew me off from the beginning to the end and they didn't even do it in a polite way.

They never said something like, "we have sufficient evidence to believe that this is a legitimate review written in the proper timeframe".  They just replied with the insulting statement, " thank you for your support".   It was insulting because it was such an intentional lack of acknowledgment of whatever I'd just said.

I've been a VIP member for seven years or so. I wasn't being demanding or unreasonable. In the past I have been satisfied with the way they have handled the many issues I've contacted them about along the way. After this, I don't feel the same way about them.   They have lost my respect and my trust.

I don't know if anybody cares or not, but I wanted to voice my opinion about that .

Its a fuck board re: an illegal activity that was designed for men so of course it will skew more towards the client side of the business.

... doesn't mean that we have to throw politeness, reason, and respect out the window.

Not because she's been a long-time paying customer.  But because she's a human being.

And even she cant say if the two guys she asked were lying.

Thank you for the WK though. I had a feeling it might be you. ;)

Go ahead, spit it out, plain and clear.

And I'll accept the "WK" bullshit any day, if that's how you want to label people who think politeness, reason, and respect are worth something, even on a fuck board.
