How long does it take to build a solid clientele?

Since I am just getting started, I am curious to know how long it took to solidify jobs, gain reviews, and have regulars? I would imagine that it is a lot harder to get steady gigs when you start out with 0 reviews. I am just curious to know if there is a certain way to strategize. I provide full GFE and kink, though I still consider myself to be alternative. Would that also be a factor?

the best thing you can do is be yourself during a session I've been providing for 4 years and I've been here in Denver Colorado for the last 2 months and in those two months I have acquired 17 regulars. if you need any other help or information feel free to contact me via private message or email good luck out there be safe

can take some ladies a good year, some shorter. Really depends on alot of different factors, your location, how you market yourself, etc etc. You will do fine, just give it time. And once it happens, it usually happens overnight and try and be prepared for it when it does, cause that's a good thing.

I wish you the best of luck and remember, it takes some serious dedication and hard work to make it here on any level.

Take care of yourself,

xx kisses

Some things to do, read the self help center, get active on your local regional board, post your weekly ad on your local regional ad board, post your pics on the daily photo board.  It is harder to get started when no one knows anything about you.  By posting on your regional board, guys can get a feel for your personality and see if you fit their requirements in a provider.  Posting ads on here will get you contact by members, these are the guys who will review you.

A personal website will help also, and there are several free templates available for your use.  Once you get a bit established, you might invest in a more personal professionally done website.

city like Cincinnati, it will take longer than a larger more tourist/convention location like NYC, Las Vegas, Miami, Orlando, etc.

What I have found is any provider who offers good service at a fair price will succeed.  There is a niche out there for all body types.  Good luck to you.

Really, building clientele depends on your marketing and advertising techniques, and in all honesty, the perceived value of your services.

Here are some things I've learned over the last few years:
1. develop a niche- what do you bring to the table that others don't? what makes you unique? Your ad and website copy should reflect this, and your ad/website copy will definitely help you attract the correct clientele.

2. your rates need to match your target market.  Personally, my rates work for me, and I find that most of my target market is very comfortable paying my rate and paying it on a semi-regular basis. Because of my presentation (i'm plus-sized, heavily tattooed, tall, etc), I can't command the rates of 5'6" 120 lb model types.  Im also in the midwest, where there's more of an emphasis on "wholesome" looks.  Of course there's a market for other things, but because those are more niche markets and not as high in demand, i have to price accordingly.  It's also a rate that I'm happy to work for.  Also note that lower rates often mean more work; you have to find a sweet spot with your rates.  Also, if you're going to offer particular services, make sure that you actually enjoy them and want to provide those services.  I'd advise you not to do things you're not interested in for extra cash, but I'm sure you know that. ;)

3. I've been doing this for a while, and honestly, to be a "regular" for me is seeing me once a month or once every other month.  I'm sure this has more to do with the demographic that's interested in me; they have expendable income, but can only access large amounts of it every once in a while (due to partners, families, etc). While my rates are reasonable for the experience I provide, $300 is still a chunk of change to part with for most of the population. Be realistic about your expectations with how often people can spend large sums of money.  I never close off new business prospects that are screened and polite.

3a. Creating scarcity is a double-edged sword. Consider your rates before deciding to do so.

4. The year ebbs and flows.  Escorting is really similar to other service sectors like restaurant work and retail jobs.  There are certain times of the year that are far busier than others (sept-december, march-june by my observations) and times that are slow (jan-march, june-august; again, these are my observations).  If you're just starting now, it's a slower time of year for most.

5. My first review here was for a bdsm session, and it literally took me 6 months to get someone to review me for full service once i started advertising for it, despite asking those gents to review me. Because I didn't have any full-service reviews, those on the board still considered me as a TOFTT ("take one for the team") lady.  Lots of guys that you'll see don't or won't write reviews.  If you know that someone found you using TER, you can definitely ask them to write reviews for you; some will oblige and actually follow through.  A lot though, won't.  If you want reviews, find the correct level of activeness on the boards.  Seriously, it helps a lot in my case.  While I don't a ton, i post frequently and with some level of thought.

5a. Answer ISOs publicly if someone is looking for a particular service that you provide.  While most that post the ISOs will never answer you, lots more people read the boards than actually participate. I've had a lot of people book sessions with me based on someone else's ISO.

Hopefully that helps! If you have any other questions, you can feel free to get a hold of me. ;)
