I'm sure that this has come up before. Would TER ever consider offering us hobbyists the option of creating a profile for ourselves? Completely optional, of course. It would be helpful for those providers who may want to know about us. Offering up gender, age (for those comfy with that), ethnicities, any limitations we might have, etc could be very helpful to providers.

... and inclusion of personal info such as age and ethnicity is optional, I have no problem with having this feature. Perhaps it could be another "perk" available for VIP members.  (Limiting it to VIP members would help offset the implementation and upkeep costs.)

As you may know, other sites eg P411 have profiles for clients.  I have found my P411 profile useful to give providers I'm asking to meet for the first time a good idea about what to expect, beyond my reviews and TER posts.

P--- verification site has an optional profile page for the hobbyists. I love the format.
Questions are weight, uses sexual enhancers, circumcised, what activities are important, etc~~ and a spot for the person to write their own profile. There have been many appointments I have absolutely looked forward to because of the effort the client took to let the providers know what will please them. There has also been many hobbyists I have declined to see because their profile was just so offensive that I would not have been comfortable seeing them ~ knowing how they "talk" to or about providers.  One guy wrote something to the effect of he preferred ladies just arrive ready to get down to business since he is not interested in small talk!!!!!! Wow, ok like should I just drop to my knees upon crossing the threshold?! Yeah, I had to tell him we would not be a good match. Although I was a little surprised at the tone of the profile-- I was very happy to not have us both be in an awkward spot.

I have never had a female contact me through that site however I have had a few men that include their wife's info in the profile which was very cool.

I think it would be an awesome idea. The guy could put down his preferences and the provider would know going in exactly what would please him. This could only lead to much better session in my opinion. Happy client equals repeat business for the provider so it is a win win scenario. Conversely as stated it would also be another excellent screening tool when a provider would realize that the customer and her would not be a good fit. I would like to see the option to fill out a profile come to fruition. Purely voluntary of course.

I think it would be great to have a profile for hobbyists (optional for those who want one) and I would take it one step further and allow the providers to give reviews on them (optional for those who want reviews).
This is what I think this can accomplish:
1)  It would be a good way to help the providers with their screening.  I know the White List is there, but sometimes more detail would be helpful
2)  It would be a good balance to the problem of “fake reviews” on TER.  If a user has a long list of providers complaining about the user it might make them think twice about posting garbage.  Or if a user has many reviews of providers but no reviews BY providers you might think they are fakers
3)  Also, you could check and see if a provider has a long list of complaints about their users.  This might make you think that maybe the users were correct and the provider is the one with the problem
4)  it could be a nice ego boost for those of us who are awesome
5) it could be a nice damper on the egos of those of us who think they’re awesome but are really jerks
6) It might make the interactions more beneficial for all if the user knows they can be reviewed

Maybe there could be a public area of the user review with only a few non-personal details and a private area only for the providers so some things are not public?
With an anonymous Internet, it is impossible to stop the problem of haters and fakers, but by providing more information people can consider the source a bit better and make their own minds up.  (If all you watched was Fox News you have a certain view of the world events, but if you add in some other news channels you can better decide what is really going on in the world.)

All in all I think it would be a nice second check and balance to provide more information to the users to make informed decisions.  It gives more insight into the users who made reviews and also on the providers who made reviews.
