Do you have an attitude problem
 maybe?

A bust here in NE Ohio.  Scary thing about it is that I have been to that hotel with a well reviewed Provider.

Cops saw some ad on BP (stay away from that SH-- the cops love that forum because it is easy pickings and they can justify their salary and overtime) called the # and arrested some female from Asia.

Ding ding, some guy then comes to the room.  Tells the cops he picked the gal up from the airport.

Ding ding ding, the cops call the FBI and the magical words "human trafficking" start getting thrown around.

Suffice it to say if your ass is caught in that good fucking look trying to resume your life.

People can call me all kinds of names (IDgiveAF) but one thing I am not is some cheap motherfucker trying to underprice the Providers.

RT (play safe or get fucked and not in a good way)

Do you have a lunk to a story on this.  Where did you find out about it?

If you read the link, there was a particular set of circumstances involved in that bust and a particular motel.  If you are discrete and stay at better establishments it shouldn't be a problem

Too many of the providers are going to Independence, and a nice hotel that I had stayed at had a reverse sting, so that was enough for me. When I come, I will stay in other areas.

Long time lurker, first time poster.

The police will go after anywhere that is 'their' area. Beachwood, Independence, Brecksville, these are all the areas where the police officers that sued the cities for making them live in the areas they patrol live in.

On any given day, the police can go after anyone they want. Heck. You think the police don't have memberships to TER? Trust me, they do.

This isn't meant to scare anyone, I am sure it has occured to folk that the police could read every review and go after the folk by email. But they don't. They will 'protect' their homes (mainly so their wives won't find out). The discreet places with no complaints will always be fine

... where you don't live in is dumb.

many communities have had busts such as these, including Chicago... that's where you are listed in your profile.

if you are going to base your decisions on where to do your business based on busts alone, then you should stay at your city and don't leave.

Posted By: MissErinBlack...  independence terrifies me for this reason alone. (e)

...and know all about Independence.  I never lived there, but I have friends who have worked and lived there for years. I know about the area quite well, and have done plenty of recon both in-person and via the web.

No need to make assumptions that just because I live in Chicago that I'm unaware of the areas around a city I tour on a regular basis.  Independence is known for being hot. There are plenty of places in Chicago/Cook County/Lake and DuPage Counties that I won't work in because of high arrest rates.  I've never lived in Lake or DuPage Counties either, but i know well enough to keep my happy hooker ass on the Cook County side of the line.

Busts happen all over the country in all sorts of places.  It's why I screen hard and thoroughly, and it's why I personally keep a private incall in Chicago.  I don't do hotels here.  And while the bust in Independence happened at a Red Roof Inn (imagine that, I read the article), plenty of high-end hotels aid in busts/reverse busts all over the country.

And by the way, my comment wasn't a "dis" on Independence as a city. I know a lot of people who live there and think quite highly of it, and that's great.  However, due to high levels of law enforcement looking to bust hookers, I'd rather not spend my time there.  That's a reflection on cops in Independence; not the city itself.

... to back up your post.

Do you have any hard evidence to back up that statement?

Reading that comment leads me to believe that you do all of this "recon -- in person and in the web" before you decide if you are going to visit a city. The only city that I can think off that might fit the bill is Salt Lake City. I'm sure a lot of the Mormon guys would love to add you to their long list of "wives".

P.S. the list of cities that you do visit must be very small.
Have you visited Mayberry, NC? Golly! Sheriff Andy Taylor doesn't even carry a gun.
But, you better do some 'recon and web search' before you decide to visit that city
