One thing I am concerned about: my golf handicap will rise if I get too heavily into hobbying.

but not just that, but it also distracts from other, more productive things I should be doing with my time!

i have given up collecting stamps and coins to concentrate on collecting pussy..
I don't want to think of what I could have bought for myself with all the money I have spent on the ladies. However, I regret none of it, I have been having a wonderful time being intimate with all kinds of hot gals.
Hobbying has not affected my golf game (I'm a hacker, always have been, and always will be).

It distracts me while I practice guitar. I'll get to where I'm playing along just fine, and then I'll start thinking about a provider and my playing goes to hell.
and then get horny and have to go get laid, which does distract me from my other two hobbies.
I am not much on paying "high dollar" for hookers, partly from spending so much time in Latin America, and partly from living in such great mongering towns as Atlanta and Dallas where there is no real need to pay over $300 hr for some very attractive and talented women.
There was this time in Vegas where my three "hobbies" all clashed on the same day. I was having a horrible day at the tables, lost somewhere over thirty grand that day, AND I saw five different hookers during that same day, all at $500 a pop, which is unheard of for me. Looking back on it however, the "overpriced" hookers were by far not only the best part of my day, but the cheapest. I am sure that I would have lost at least another 10-20 grand during those five hours that I spent fucking, and it makes me look back on that day a LOT more fondly than any other of the many days I have lost at the tables. lol

Between the 3,000 + hookers and the gambling losses..I'd say you've burnt through one serious fat stack.

and one of the benefits of having had only one divorce and no kids. I actually got to have fun with all the money I have burned through. How many guys have blown every bit as much as I have, but given it all to ex wives and child support? At least I have fond memories and lots of stories to tell in my old age.

my other hobbies are running marathons and diving, both provide excellent cover for this one. I do feel a little bad for the ones that catch a post race appointment though, they have to do most of the driving!
A technique on the golf course is during a the tee shot I'll think about boobs as a way to calm me down and not think too hard about how to swing. Weird, but works.
Damn near any activity where you have time to think it'll be distracting to think about sex, but also primes the pump for the next hobby session.
Don't fight it. And like any hobby, don't ever look at the cumulative math! Just stay within your disposable budget.
