I've been on this site for years but I rarely come on here because I still can't figure out how to post an ad! I get to the Ad area but can't figure out how to post... i know... lame..
Posting an ad is no different than the post you made to ask the question. The self help center will give you some help if you want to put a picture in the ad.

for rules about ads. Off the top of my head...
1 ad per 7 days. (If you need to update, you can apparently reply to your own ad.)
You have to host pictures on another site & use a link.
You can make a sensible reply to any conversation on any board... but if you start a thread it may be deemed an ad, moved to ad board & count as your ad for the week.
Most likely you are "Moderated" (we all were when we started). Members without a posting history have ALL their posts checked by staff before they go live. Once you have a posting history... showing you will follow the rules... you can request to be unmoderated. It's annoying on conversation topics... move beyond your answer before it appears... but that's the only way to get UnModerated.
Once you have reviews... if you request to have your prfile linked to your reviews, you get FREE Limited VIP & use of the PM system.
