Not quite sure what this directory that you speak of is....

First:  Are you a provider or hobbyist?

If the former, then there is a directory of gals who have profiles on TER.  If you go to the review section and click on "search reviews", you'll come to a page with various filters to select providers according to location as well as physical attributes, ratings, etc.  You can not, however, list yourself in there.  Rather, you have to be reviewed first and when that happens you will get a profile and the information in the profile will be set by the person writing your first review.

If you are the latter, then there is no directory per se; but each member who writes reviews has a listing of their reviews which can be found by either clicking on the little logo that indicates how many reviews they have when they post something on the board, or by going to search by reviewer on the review site.  (The latter requires you to have paid VIP membership.)

I suggest that in any case you read the entire Newbie/Self Help Manual that is linked on this page to learn how TER works, etc.

Then come back if you are still having difficulties.

Would someone mind telling me how to list myself in the directory? I'm having difficulty navigating the instructions sent to me by TER staff.

There is no distinction between a provider and a client when you first join TER, you won't have a profile until someone writes your first review, your first reviewer will establish your profile and you can have it linked to your TER name.
TER is a great site once you figure out how to use it. A good place to start is the self-help center, it contains a lot of good information. Reading back as many pages as you can here on the newbie board is also very educational.

I think this may have been where I misunderstood. I believed I could just begin my profile. I didn't understand that I need to wait for reviews before being listed.

once every 7 days on your local regional ad board.  Start posting on threads on your local regional board, post pictures on the daily photo thread, and read the self help center.  These things will get your name out there so potential clients will get a little bit of info of your personality, well, the self help center won't do that, but it will answer some of your questions.  You can always come back to this forum and ask about things you don't understand.

As stated previously, you will get a profile and an ID# as soon as one of your clients posts a review of you.  Once that happens, you can ask admin for the limited provider VIP and to have your profile linked to your handle.  The limited VIP will let you read the juicy details of your own reviews, but not those of others, for that you will have to pay.  Having your profile linked to your handle means that every time you post, underneath your handle will be a link to your reviews.  This will make it easier for more guys to find you.
