While we do not have M&Gs in my area I am curious as to what the proper etiquette is for attending them.  I know they are for getting to know others and the ladies.  Is it also safe to assume, future dates can be set up at these or should they still be set up as normal?

Please forgive my newbieness with it comes to M&Gs.  I'd like to attend one some day even wish I could host one but that won't be happening anytime soon.

I've been in the hobby for 10+ years and have always been very low profile, but am attending my first M&G at the AVN...can anyone describe the general environment and what it is like during the M&G itself?

The ladies will be "dressed to kill" the guys not so much. The host/hostess set the guidelines for behavior.

It's being held at a really nice private home that's been used in the past.  O_D and his co-hosts (including me) have been running M&Gs for years and know how it's done.  The list of ladies is deep and amazing.  This will be the third annual AVN party and the last two had some of the best talent I've even seen at such an event.
So, yes, a sophisticated cocktail party is what to expect.  With a sexy edge.

After all, that's what they're for.  And there's no problem with legality because no money is changing hands. Hosts have different views about sex AT an M&G.  Some frown on it, others look the other way.  I've been at M&Gs where sex was being had in bathrooms and closets.  There's also some playful groping.
Then there was the time a very well-known gal tried to convince me to stay by pulling out my cock and sucking on it in front of everyone.  Just don't count on that.
The Las Vegas M&G on AVN weekend will be at a private house, so who knows what might go on in the bedrooms.  One of them will be mine. ;)
