Some interesting posts occured in what started out as an query regadiing Amber Lynn below, and I thought I'd add my two cents.

Personally, I think the constant ISO's and "does she or doesn't she" posts, while a legitimate and elemental key to all provider boards, by themselves makes for very dull reading.  If you look at Big Doggie, the one time King of the provider discussion boards has become a wasteland.  Lot's of people asking, few people answering.

That's because many of the "senior hobbyists" have left BD, and in fact almost all of the similar boards.  The reason?  Well, not to be smug, but most of the senior hobbyists, myself included, really don't need to go on a board to find out who's available and who isn't.   Those of us who still do post do so partly out of ego, I guess, but also because these boards were of invaluable use to us when we first started, and it's our way of helping others the way we were helped.

But these days the boards are filled with people who post ISO's apparently without doing ANY legwork first.  Simple word searches on this very forum will answer a lot of the ISO's, a little investigation using google or yahoo will unearth a wealth of additional information, and hey, spend the $20 bucks for a VIP membership to TER and a lot more questions are answered.  Yet many of these people are the first to complain about off-topic posts taking up too much space... well, luckily this is a non-linear medium, and if a post titled "cajun cooking" doesn't interest you, you're not really required to read it, just as I don't bother to read any ISO for a lady who I know has been discussed previously.

And here's a little hint... if you establish yourself by posting intelligent or humorous messages, you get known not only by your fellow posters, but by the pornstars themselves, many who read these boards (even if they don't post), and network with each other.  I've gotten emails from pornstars who've read my reviews and posts, got a pretty good feeling for the type of guy I am, and because of that have contacted me to see if I'd like to book them directly... they don't have to worry about security checks, or if I'm an asshole, or whatever, because they've learned enough about me through my posts.

I recently spent a few hours with a pornstar who asked me not to post a review, and while we were DFKing, I remarked that I really enjoy kissing... she said, "I know... I' read your posts and reviews, and I know EXACTLY what you like"... then she proceeded to fulfill all of my preferences without me having to ask.

Conversely, when a pornstar chooses to post here, she should be encouraged, not discouraged regardless of the nature of her post.  You can gain a lot of insight about how she'll be in the bedroom by reading her posts.... You sure as hell know that Nikki Diamond has a sense of humor, is intelligent and pretty wild... I think that's abundently clear.  And Kathy Willets posts are always well thought out and intelligent, and you can tell by her posts that she feels that the "customer is King"... all very good indications as to how they're going to be in person.  The same can be said for Chloe Black, who's message titles are always a riot... Her photos and website don't begin to show what her attitude is like, but her posts do, and primarily because of them, I'd love to meet her.  If a pornstar wants to tell you about what happened to her when she took her clothes to the laundamat, there's bound to be something in her story that will give you a clue as to what she likes or hates... and you can use it to your advantage when you meet her.

So in my humble opinon, there's room for any and all posts that are about pornstars, regardless of the context...
