I'm a total noob at this. So the first escort I contacted and asked to come by a restaurant I was at looked TOTALLY different from her ad. She looked like something you would pay 50$ for but she wanted 200 lol So I quickly turned her around because she wasn't straight forward with me.
My second time was when I called an escort and she showed up at my hotel room, again looking COMPLETELY different from her pictures. This time I just said fuck it I NEED some before we go out so I let her in put the money on the table and she went to use my bathroom.
But here is when it got kinda funny. She got on the phone with her agency (I think it was her pimp not an actual agency) so she started saying what time the service would be over and asking me what do I want to DO while being on the phone!? I thought to myself what do you mean what do I want to do, I want to go to my bedrooms and get some. But of course I said nothing about sex or anything like that. It kind of scared me when she was still on the phone asking me what was I looking for to happen. Because she could be a cop recording everything. So I just said I want VIP services. She said what is VIP services!? From there I realized it's either she a cop or a time waster. So I said I want to cancel our "date" and of course it was not refundable so I lost 200 in less then 5 minutes.
I'm not having much luck. And these two were on backpages so I think I'm done with backpages..

...Get the VIP membership here. Find escorts here on your TER regional ad board. Check their web site see if they are newbie friendly. Go through their screening and see them. They can be references for you with other providers.
Look into P411. They can verify you so you can see P411 newbie friendly providers.
Read the Self-Help Center here and read this board. Go back a few pages.
Stay away from BP since you are a newbie.

at least you learned something from them. Your comment about backpage is good. While there are some quality providers that use it, there are many scams on there. My advice at this point is for you to first read the self help center, link under the life preserver above. Second, get VIP membership here if you don't already have it. Finally, consider joining a verification site like preferred411, date-check, or roomservice2000. P411 does allow their providers to indicate if they are newbie friendly, these are the ones you should look for.
When you find a provider that interests you, do the RESEARCHj!!!!! Verify the phone number, the pictures, look for reviews, do everything you can to minimize any future mishaps.

always google the phone number and if there's an email address in the ad google that as well. Also use google/image to verify the pictures in the ad. This isn't about luck, this is about methodically doing your research to make sure the escort in the ad will show up looking like her pictures and you'll have a good time
have the tools and the advice here to succeed. First, read the self-help center (see the red & white lifesaver athe top) then read several pages here on the Newbie Board.
It doesn't matter where you find providers as long as you VERIFY them by READING REVIEWS whether it be here on TER (VIP needed to read the juicy details) or elsewhere. You need to do your own research to avoid some of the bad situations out there.

bp is really making it hard for real girls like me to advertise. i had to get ter and p411 because bp is so watered down and its hard to pick between the real and fake girls. If they are on bp they should still post their p411 and ter numbers, that's what i do. Nowadays almost ALL girls should at least have a basic website with at least a couple reviews. BP is 70% fake girls and pimps so be careful! But the best way to go is to find girls directly through here or another verified site. Happy hobbying!

Well reviewed providers have at least 6 (or more) good reviews & at least some reviewers are experienced with 6 - 10 reviews under their belt. You have VIP, that's a plus!
You were right to freak about her leading question...
EVEN if she might have delivered services, it is never OK to actually discuss sex acts for money (the legal defination of prostitution). Now doing so after recieving the donation may be a scam to pull on Newbies... to freak them out so they are allowed to walk with the cash.
Some gals do indeed check in time wise with a friend or agency for safety... but it can lead to clock watching which is really low class.
By the way, since you actually met her, you can write a review... warn others of her tactics.
