A an awful girl who didn't resemble her ad, came over and I didn't really feel into it. Made her in friend leave, after a partial back massage and they ran off with my iPhone and iPod.

I keep calling the agency and number from backpages, but they have blocked me now. How can I figure out the agency behind the curtain and make a greater effort to recover my stolen property??????????

Phone # was 626 -921-4233

see well reviewed ladies with multiple reviews from established reviewers.  TER is not the only review site but if you use TER, then get VIP so you can read the details in the reviews as well as PM reviewers to get additional information.

Google is your friend regarding pics and other info.

but contact your cell phone service provider and report the phone as stolen so at least the service is cut off and you don't get billed for any more use.

ut then you'd have to tell them why she was visiting. Did you activate the iPhone locator?  I
However, I wouldn't recommend going to where the locator shows the phone. She could have "management" with her.
If you activated the iCloud feature on your phone all the info can be downloaded to your new phone.

I hate to rub it in but outcalls to your residence by unreviewed providers is always risky.  So so called "providers" are notorious scammers & thieves.  There seems to be an inexhaustable supply of gulible guys to rip off.
Incalls are much safer & only take a cheapo hobby phone in with you!

Sorry.  No ideas.  Probably fenced by now.  Shut them off by remote access.

I don't have much advice about your problem but I'm wondering if there really is a market for stolen iPhones and iPods these days?  Everything is registered and traceable.  A phone becomes a useless brick after reported stolen (or can even be used to track down the thief).

I was going to trade in my old phone but I couldn't believe what they told me it was worth to them (the official cell phone company): not enough to buy a nice paperweight so I'm using my old phone as a paperweight.

Before the law, a REALLY expensive phone theft might reach the level of grand larceny (what's the current cutoff for GL in most places?) but it is at least petty larceny.  Even a crooked re-seller or repair guy who wants it for spare parts won't give them more than $10.

I just don't get it

China, India, OK.  But what does the thief get over here (USA)?  $10?

"Hobbying" risks a misdemeanor in exchange for a pretty good hourly pay rate.

Theft risks a criminal charge and conviction in exchange for $10??

Well, I guess there're different kinds of crazy.

I really hate to hear stories like this sorry that happened to you. I looked at the ad and immediately i knew it was fake. With good pictures like that she should have a website and plenty of verification. There are so many fake ads and sadly its just scammers with a pimp, not an agency. Finding providers on eros, p411, and other verified sites will help to prevent that from happening again. Hope you next experience is better :-)
