I rather travel to BWI. Perhaps better put,  all things being equal, I tend to avoid downtown and would likely opt to see someone closer to BWI than in Inner Harbor as the area around BWI and heading toward DC is just more convenient for me.  Traffic in the city (both Balto & DC)  is a pain and I find parking an issue.

For providers, they probably find Inner Harbor filled with more things to do during their free time.

There are those that avoid BWI Hotel District, citing concerns about county police in  Anne Arundel (and Howard County), but with careful screening and be discretion, it is no worse than anyplace else.  JMHO

Hey guys I'm fairly new to the area and would like to know which area do you prefer to travel to. I've been downtown by the inner harbor and I love it but some hobbyist say the traffic is crazy. Any suggestions? PM me hotels and areas to stay away from. Thanks in advance.

I'm actually here now. I have hosted many times in bwi and have never had an issue.
I kinda like that its more quiet as opposed to a busy city, but I can see how others would prefer the busy city.
I'm an early to bed, early to rise kind of girl.. I like grass, I like trees, fresher air, lol..

This is my last week here as Im moving to the beach next Wednesday, but to the OP - feel free to PM me if you'd like any info on BWI. :)

I'm originally from West Coast and I live in Maryland now; the air is definitely not fresher at BWI than downtown...theyre only like 9miles apar. The money flow may be better at BWI, but Maryland has bad air everywhere! I guess I'm just spoiled coming from the PNW where the nature is gorgeous and plentiful. I wouldnt ever choose  a BWI incall particulalrly for the "Nature"/

For naturey incall, Id say Columbia there is even a major hotel that is on a little  lake! so nice in the summer time taking a nice long nature walk by the water ;)

You should take your bike and bike the bwi trail. Have a nice dinner at Adams ribs.

When I said fresher air. I also typed "lol."
I'm not talking about air quality, I'm just talking about smell. Unless you stay downtown by the bread factories, I just think it stinks.

Where I stay at bwi I wake up and hear birds. I see trees from my window. I don't walk outside to a sidewalk then hear cars honking at each other. When I was younger I preferred the city life.. Now that I'm 37, I prefer the county life. The beach life, actually.
When I stay in the city, I feel stuffy. I feel chaos. I'll go downtown to see a game then I am ready to leave.

I actually prefer Frederick over any place that I have hosted at in Maryland.

I just couldn't resist! ;-) Hopefully it's "nah"!

I'm a bright lights, big city kind of gal and I usually don't prefer suburbs. When visiting different cities, it can be confusing figuring out when it's better to stay in the Downtown areas versus outlying areas. I'll take folks' word that BWI is a better bet.

I'd rather give a parking discount at the inner harbor and have the ability to go walk around and do my girly thing afterwards.

I'm into  exploring and doing the same thing
