I don't know too many consumers, be they men or woman, who don't want value. Every girl here who says they make there johns pay rack rate will then take that money and seek out a bargain/sale/discount from their fav store. I don't blame them. I have the same mentality when I contact a p4p girl.  

Now clue as to why hooking would be different than virtually any other business. Girls here have done a great job of conditioning softer/gullible men to believe that there is some massive difference.

But that's their issue, not mine, as they are free to choose which way to hobby. My only point is that there are many ways and approaches to this hobby. Peeps are foolish to think otherwise. But I know you aren't one of them. You get it. ;)

Like everybody, I look at photos and read reviews and make judgments about who I want to see based, basically, on looks, performance/menu, price, location.

But I recently saw a provider that bears a striking resemblance to an assistant that worked for me for several years, a basic hot blonde 20-something. I had wild fantasies about this assistant (but, of course, kept my hands and other parts to myself).  Anyway, when I met the escort, it immediately triggered the fantasy that I was with the former assistant.  Which was FUN.  So I now I have a new criterion-- find escorts that look like people I know that I would like to sleep with.  I think this is going to be fun.  

I would be curious to know what other angles/approaches/criteria -- besides the obvious ones noted above -- people look for in choosing who to see

Those are the most fun for me. Girls who want to hang out, give OTC and will accept a reasonable offer for a lengthier session. Girls who have mastered this get my repeat business and other perks that help them with their business.

The clock watchers and nickel and dimers are a turn off and I screen them out by the reviews, the pm's and my connections in the UTR scene.

We are two peas in a pod but at the opposite end of the scale. I like my tricks who pay up and leave on time and don't push for OTC. We like what we like and if I was a trick I possibly would trick like you do.

My career, unlike most businesses that ramp down this time of year, did the opposite. So I have been so freaking busy with that and the gym that I have had little time to get on here and piss people off...lol.

I have never thought of that.   But, other than the usual sexual attraction from her reviews, etc, I look for a gal who can just "be herself".   Of course, that takes some time and investment.

Although I'm still learning the ropes ive found a few things that work for me-

1.  Can I afford her?
2.  Is she available when I'm available

3. Are reviews relatively consistent and by reviewers that have established consistency and reliability
     - after awhile you tend to notice like minded reviewers and can gravitate toward their picks in the beginning
4.  Once I've met... Is she someone that I think I'll continue to see?
5.  Oh yeah.. I usually pick well reviewed providers and stick with ones on a verification site other than just TER.  I avoid BP.

If the reviews are old and there is no activity on verification site then I avoid.  That's just me.  More seasoned guys may do differently  

Repeat visits for the people I click with has paid off... We both genuinely seem to enjoy eachothers time and company that much more :)
