Portland to the north and Philadelphia, Baltimore and DC to the south is way less expensive than flying somewhere. These cities have active hobby scenes. Like Swim said, check rates to be sure your are competitive then post an ad and see what happens.

see which ones contain cities you might like to visit. When you have some that interest you, post either on their regional ad board, or ask on the regional board if there is any interest in having a visit from you.
I'd keep this in mind, since you are in NYC, your local rates might be higher than some of the markets you want to visit. Look at the ads in that region and see what that market will bear. If you go in asking rates to high for the local market, you might not attract too many potential clients.
Swim
Megan there are many areas with very active Hobbying scenes, such as NY, LA, Atlanta, Miami, Phoenix and others. They have lots of hobbyists, but they also tend to have lots of locals, lots of competition. You might consider some of the under served areas where your visit would stand out and attract more attention. I'm thinking of Albuquerque NM but I know there must be others. Good luck!

Denver: Big city, lot of people, not much in the way of talent - nice girls there, just not many
Maybe cross the border? It's still legal in Canada
Houston: Same as Denver, for a city with many beautiful women it doesn't seem to have many providers
Avoid Ohio their human trafficking laws are weird, ugly, and easy to violate without meaning to.
