I have never been shy about asking if a lady had reviews if I did not see any linked to her profile or P 411 ad, and I fully agree that if she get snooty, offended or flip about my request, I will cross her off my list as I doubt our personalities will mesh at that point.
When asking such a question to a lady there are a few acceptable answers IMO. One is "yes I do, they are on xxxx site, under xxxx name" Another would be "no, I am sorry, but I am new and don't have any reviews yet, maybe you could be my first?" Or even "No, I don't believe in the review process and have delisted myself, but I assure you that you will enjoy your time with me"
All of those responses would be just fine with me. An answer such as "I don't see hobbyists and I consider the review process degrading" or "I consider that a very rude question, no I do NOT have any reviews, nor do I allow them"
Those answers will put a woman on my "must miss" list. lol
Thanks to all the great replies I have received in this forum, I have been able to contact a provider who was very responsive.
I only have a slight concern, while the provider has been screened on P411, they have no reviews visible. Would it be bad form to ask if the provider if they happen to have any reviews. I would not want to offend the provider by asking for something that if not offered should not be requested.
Some guys want to know why and I tell them. I also mention that if my lack of reviews is an issue I perfectly understand and wish them well.
That she did not link her reviews to her P411 profile.Have you tried to google her phone# or email to see if possibly some reviews come up on another site?If you have searched and do not find any it does not hurt to ask if she has any reviews and if so which site.If she has no reviews then you decide if she is someone you would like to see.
questionable ones on other not-so-reputable sites. Often these women had fake pictures and rather dubious claims as to what they would do. Usually a question to them about it was answered with silence. But that silence spoke volumes.
Personally, I would have no issue seeing a provider w/o reviews if she was a very active contributor to TER - like hbyist+truth=;( , for example.
In fact....in the case of hbyist+truth=;( , her lack of reviews or a profile here just makes her more enticing.

Since she obviously doesn't work under that name, you would have zero idea that she was the one you were contacting, Something I am sure she does on purpose.
I don't know how H+T runs her business, but I am sure that she has some way of proving her legitimacy, or she has a great crowd of regulars. Either way, It's really none of my business, if she wanted us to know her business, she would be sharing those details of her own accord. I judge her the way I judge the male alias posters here, like Jack or Panthera, I judge them by the persona they care to share with us here. Who knows, maybe one of us have actually met with her and never knew it? I don't think I am going to stay up nights worrying about it though. lol

Funny you should say that (your last sentence) because the last two new guys I saw recently made sure they mentioned the fact I was not reviewed and sort of UTR was why they picked me. I guess my website is working wonders.

To answer the orig question, if a provider gets offended by someone asking if she has any reviews, then I would not see her. I want to know she's safe, just as she wants to know if I am safe to visit her. The ones who don't, oftentimes don't want them for reasons like privacy due to civvie job, or they know their reviews will not be good, so better not to have them. I've seen ads where they tell the reader to check their reviews, I checked them, and they were terrible. Go figure.... You gotta remember, there are a lot of people involved in this little hobby of ours, and many of them are totally unaware of sites like this one, or just choose not to use them. She may not know about TER or what a review even is.
