It does throw off the rhythm of the session and they don't look particularly appealing either. They also feel a bit cool when you first insert yourself in them. Probably a good idea to let it soak in a cup of hot water before using.
They cost quite a bit more too.

If you want, and can do it discreetly, you can order some from online stores such as Amazon or CondomDepot and request it to be used after you've been verified by the gal. This way, you have higher chance of enjoying the experience. Its as safe as male condom..

Yes, they can be awkward at first, but keep in mind that the lady can insert it herself, or the gentleman can wear it I purchase mine through Amazon.
I keep both at my incall location, and always both to outcalls.
