I talked to Cathy at RS2K and she informs me there was a glitch with mjr emails and everything has been resolved

Cathy tell me that "RS2K doesn NOT keep records nor will we.. about providers checking on members, nor will we start,... That is why they say, "you MAY need to give a provider reference if they want to know more about you!"

Realize RS2K are not an agency....they only sell advertising and memberships. A membership indicates NOTHING... just that you joined the site... They DON'T IMPLY anything that you did anything but purchased a membership. Much like ordering Sport Illustrated, does it mean that since you purchased the subscription to it that you are a football player?

I myself have joined lots of sites covering a variety of subjects. For example, 2 years I joined a trade association site because I was considering getting into that business. After doing research I decided to keep my nice corporate gig and not join the ranks of the self-employed

. . . has been frustrating.  I emailed the for the registration and received back the form.  I provided all of the vital and personal information, except for my credit card information.  I asked if they would either call me for the CC information or if I could FAX it to them.  Emailing CC information over the internet is very insecure; often identity theft occurs this way and I'm surprised they would ask people for that kind of info via an email.  A secure web page would be better.

I never heard back from them.  I emailed them 3 very cordial inquiries, but have not heard back from them.  Is this standard-opporating-procedure for them?  I am frustrated as I am missing the opportunity to meet providers coming through the area.  Suggestions please. . . .

Not sure who your service provider is (Internet!  NOT Hobby!) but
most upgraded services offer secure email with encryption.  I registered with RS2K some time ago, not a glitch, very helpful and easy to use... providers love it and I don't blame them, makes for quick and reliable way of verification rather than going thru the phone searchs, google search, etc... of course if you have references that is also another way to get verified, most good providers will do this for you, bur it is a slower process... remember personal provider references come from working ladies... they may be busy, on a travel schedule etc.
My two cents worth, but recommend you take the plunge.

I'd call Cathy at roomservice with any questions, you can call, 847-518-0850 between 10 am -- 1pm (M-F).

My ISP doesn't have anything to do with this.  I use a web-based email system.  RS2K did send me the initial form, but my gripe with them is that they haven't responded back to my requests for an alternative method of sending the CC information.  I gave them all of the other information, which now I wonder where it's being stored.  They don't provide a secure web page like date-check does (see link).  I will pay for the secure transmission of my sensitive data.
Anyone registering with RS2K and sending their CC info in an email is asking for a lot of trouble.  That kind of information is easily "sniffed" off of the Internet.  It's like SHOUTING your CC number in public.  Would you do that?

Perhaps call and ask if there is any problems? The number is listed on the site.

I did all my registration thru email and had to trouble. Cathy has always been great to deal with, and always resonded to anything I asked or needed quickly, don't know what to tell ya.

I registered with RS2K years ago and did it over the telephone. It was much quicker than email tag.

Yup. . . called the number last week between 10a-1p but all I got was an outgoing message that said the number was an informational line only.  I'll try again for grins-and-giggles, but this is wierding me out.

I had similiar issues, to a lesser extent, but I did finally break-down and e-mail CC info. I share your concern, but I used Amex, because if it does get stolen, all I have to do is make a phone call... not true with Visa, MC, et. al.

I will add that as a new hobbiest (3 months), I am glad I joined them, it is hard to give references when you have none.

Other than convenience, I see no reason to register with RS2K, Its like they have a monopoly, and someday, LE is going to bust them and have every hobbyist in Chicago.

even with the rs2k system You have to give out your fullname and contact phone number, as well as the city you live in, to each girl you see, so all that info resides on each escorts computer or list,  but it also conveniently resides in the massive data bank at RS2K for LE. They say they wont get busted because they are just an advertising service, but those kinds of services get busted all the time in other states.

If they went to an email adress, password system it might be worth the risk to me.

Cathy at RS2000 is no dummy. She has been in the hobby biz for quite a while and knows all the tricks that LE uses...ALL of them!  Dont look for her to EVER get busted, I have been a RS2000 member for 2 years now, best decision I have made in this hobby. Quality selection of ladies through that site...can't be beat.

I like RS2K and have been satisfied with my membership... but never say never.  I don't care who you are or how long you've been in the business, you never know everything and once you think you do... that's when you get busted.

I forgot to mention that I was knocking on wood after writing that post. Anything is possible

. . . has finally happened.  The person that called (not Cathy and I don't want to give out names) said they never got my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th emails.  This can happen.  They even looked in their spam folder, where they thought it would probably be, but there was nothing.  All I can think of is that their ISP pre-scanned the email and it was dropped.  I'm going to change my email address to a "yahoo" address.  I've also noticed that I don't always get replies from providers. . . even after several weeks.  I'm thinking the free email provider I'm using *sucks*.
