Let's legalize this, please.

A couple of the recent "big" busts I'm thinking of (NY area) were for tax evasion and money laundering, not so much for the other stuff.

Can't we please just legalize this activity between consenting adults?  Even at the regular tax rates, we can probably balance the Federal and State budgets in no time.

just wondering how foolproof 411 and TER profiles are? Ever any LE posing as providers here or 411? I know it's done on backpage. Thanks!

If you research your companions well and only see well reviewed ladies your chances of finding yourself in trouble or being disappointed go down.
LE is aware of nearly all the escort sites and I'm sure they have used most of them to their advantage at one time or another.
Don't be the low hanging fruit when you go out for a good time and you should be fine.

LE lurks (and probably posts) on TER, and has also used P411 in a couple of well-documented examples in recent years.  For example, when LE busted hookers in Denver they got the hookers to let them into their P411 accounts.  As soon as P411 found out, they shut the accounts down but they can't stop it from happening.  So caution is always advisable and use multiple sources to be sure the lady's on the up-and-up. I am a happy P411 member but we need to be realistic about the world we live in.

when LE makes a deal with a provider they nabbed to entrap other clients.

It is rare, but it happens.

Ultimately, it's the law of averages that keeps us safe as there are far more of us than there are LE to try and catch us, but you move your odds way in your favor if you stick to the well reviewed gals.

Especially at first. LE is far more likely to go after agencies because it's more bang for their buck.

Can they do this with a provider's email or phone number?

Actually, there has never been a case of a P411 provider account being compromised and used to target clients in the entire 9+ years we've been in business. The few times an account has been compromised (flipped), it was always a client account, and always used to target providers.

Not saying a provider account couldn't be compromised and used, it just hasn't happened up to now (knock on wood!).

Always,
Gin
