Are you coming to Vegas anytime soon????

My computer crashed and I had to reinstall everything, which deleted everything I had.
If you have seen me, please contact me and let me know.

If you have not seen me, but want to be on my mailing list, please let me know this as well.

If you have any idea in the world how to recover things on a computer when you have to reinstall the operating system and applications, please let me know. I'm fairly knowledgeable of computers and applications so this will be something complicated. I have done a search for files that I know were on there and I cannot find them. What was on my D: drive is still present. It is only what was on my C: drive that was overwritten.

Your help is greatly appreciated and I thank you in advance for your consideration.

Love, Me

As you will see, Ronnie is headed your way in May.  She is one of the top ladies here in Philly.  If you get the opportunity to see her, you will see why.

Ken

Screening is one thing, sending a lifetime CV, a SSN and blood and urine samples is another. Sending a deposit is another thread by itself.

I know you can't be too careful, but having been burned on the other end of such a process, I just have to say "never again" and pass.

Personally, I think once you go through the hoops, Ronnie is certainly an extraterrestrial experience. But if I have to go through that many hoops, I'll just stick to croquet, thanks.

Ronnie, on many OSs, there is a data recovery tool. Check your user's guide or have a reputable tech look at it. You likely will be able to get some, but not all, of the disk back.

It is probably too late, but if the information on your C drive is that important there is something you can do.  There are companies that retrieve information from hard drives after a crash.  The information is still there, you just can't access it.  If you reinstall everything then chances are that the files have been erased.  Worth a try if you really need the info, but a warning...it aint cheap.

If you have lost data that you consider very valuable, then look at a company like DriveSavers. They are not cheap, but they have a good rep.

To begin with, a program like Norton GoBack:

might be of help.

You might want to consider backing up your important data periodically on a re-writable DVD for the future.  Speaking of the future, Veronica is one of the best ladies out there and you guys should see her when she's in LV.
