Anything over 3 hours, or if you are very new with no references, and hard to verify. But the mailbox thing has to be a scam because she could've easily met you somewhere, or other ways to do it.

Wow...I've never asked for a deposit. There are plenty of ladies in the hobby that won't ask for a deposit or play any games with you. Like stated above, if something doesn't feel right, keep moving.  Your hard earned money should bring you what you want and need, not headaches.
