Screening process for a newbie

I'm fairly new to this hobby. I barely just started on -- (other review site) but we all know what happened there so I'm just to start the hobby again.

My question, how much and what kind of information are common to give up? I understand I'm fresh and don't have credentials at the same time I don't want all my information out there. So far,  I've been asked about my real name, my work email, my LinkedIn. Are these common?

Thanks,
V

To get started most of us have to get verified somehow someway.  The best way I know is to join a verification service like Preferred411 or Date-Check.  You are basically being vetted by a independent third party and will have to provide enough info for them to do that.

Once that is complete, you can set up play dates with "newbie friendly" ladies and begin to build your reputation as a stand up guy. Once you have received several okays from these ladies, then more will be willing to see you. Just realize that some ladies request additional information beyond this and it is up to you to decide if you are comfortable doing so. It really comes down to your level of risk tolerance and what you have to lose if things go south.

I also recommend getting VIP here on TER.  It is a invaluable tool for research.

Thanks senator for the reply.

I actually have both VIP on TER and been verified by p411. Like you said, I will have to build my rep within the community. I'm still having trouble because of not giving information I am not comfortable with. just  now I got asked for my driver license and a business card which I am not comfortable giving out.  I thought having p411 would help since they seem like a reputable third party but I'm still get screenings which I understand for their safety as well

but I have been asked for my DL on a couple of occasions.  I just used tape to cover up most of it, and only displayed what was necessary to validate my P411 ID.  Are you starting out with newbie friendly gals on p411?

So I've messaged a few newbie friendly one but only one so far has replied on p411 and is still in the process of screening me.  I think I'll try the covered up driver license but it's good to know that's a common thing they ask for. Thanks again

P411 has a Q&A.  Look there and they explain why she is asking for your ID.  I have had P411 providers ask for references too.  You can't blame them everyone has their own comfort level.  Read the Q&A on Basic Plus Membership too.  Follow the suggestions.

Ask your next date if she has a friend who might like to meet you.  Don't ask her to set it up though.  Lots of providers will refer you to their friends if you were not a complete jerk. (There are exceptions but most providers are not jealous types and if they are its time to move on anyway.)  Call her friend because now if you need it you have a built in reference.   Ask the next girl the same thing.  Its basic networking.  Follow the suggestions in the P411 Q&A.  Before you know it, screening will be a snap.  Of course a new hobbyist's chances are better if he broadens his horizons to include all the great shapes, sizes, & shades women come in.

This is our new campaign button... I just use it.

I always ask for ter review number or rs2k or even p411... I understand some people dont like to belong to the sites for many reasons so I run your phone number and ask you for your name and age and city(I already have all that info when I run you thru the system) if it matches ill see you.. i understand that its scary but thats y you find one girl and stick with her she wouldnt need it all the time
