I am relatively new to the hobby. I am having issues finding providers in the area since I lack references. Any advice on how to find newbie friendly providers in Chicago or anywhere else? Sorry if this has been asked a million times. Thank you.
make sure you read the self-help section... a lot of good info. As for references, I suggest joining a verification site like Preferred411, or Date-Check. You will have to give up some personal info, but only to them. Once you are verified, then you can contact newbie friendly gals that are listed on those sites to set up your play dates.
Make sure you check their reviews here to make sure you know that their pictures are accurate/current and what services they offer and how well they preform those services. By using both TER and a verification site you minimize your risk and streamline the whole reference/screening process.

being able to do the proper research on the ladies you are interested in, just as they screen you. Reading the self help center is a great suggestion. Getting VIP here is also needed, without it, you can't get all the needed info on providers.
Preferred411 will work with you to get you verified, which means you are safe to see and not LE. As the senator said, it's better to give your info to one site, rather than to a number of providers. In addition, on P411, providers can indicate if they are newbie friendly, which is what you need.
As I have said more times than I remember, you can look everywhere, but you got to do the research before making contact, check the pics, the phone number, and the reviews. As a newb, no one here will suggest you seeing any provider that does not have reviews somewhere. This is not the only review site, just the biggest, and TER rules will not allow mentioning any of the other review site names.

My opinion for what it's worth...
P411 is the Cadillac (or BMW, or Lexus, or whatever top of the line automobile you prefer)... clean interface, ability to request appointments directly from site... national presence (important if you travel)... great service.
Date-check is the chevy (of whatever middle of the road car brand you prefer)... lots of ads... national presence... nice calendar feature... ladies ads are not always up to date (i.e. they still have ads for ladies that have retired)... fairly inexpensive.
RS2K... I don't know much about it, other than it is primarily used in the Chicago market... not much, if any, of a presence elsewhere.
