Your cost of hobbying will go way up if you rent your own room every time you want to see someone.  
Keep in mind that many girls won't come to the cheapest hotels because they feel less safe going to the very places LE likes to set up stings but if you are renting a nice place you should be fine. Hotels will rarely question a guy just because he has a guest as long as she doesn't come around looking or acting like a hooker and NEVER leave her use your room to entertain other guys, that opens the door to a level of problems you want nothing to do with.
The only time I do outcall is if I'm traveling and already have a room. I'm never concerned when doing incall because before I go see someone I have already done enough research on her I have no doubt she's safe.

company paid for the room.  Without business travel, I rarely host a lady.  Incall is much easier to arrange.

1) mix it up. Don't use the same hotel too often. Have 3 or 4 and rotate them. But this depends on how much you hobby.  

2) don't use a small boutique hotel where the front desk is on top of the lobby. Use a larger, busier upscale hotel.

3) use a hotel that doesn't need a key card to access the elevator. That way the girl can come right up to your room and you don't have to meet her in the lobby.

4) ask her to dress down a bit. If you have a clothing request, ask her to bring it with her. More experienced/well reviewed providers know to do this but newbie/younger girls may not.

5) this might be obvious but make sure the hotel is not in a hot bed of LE activity. Even with upscale hotels, there are many very conservative areas where LE works with hotel management to keep the "menace" of p4p lol. So yes, hotels can and do get suspicious.

Now all this being said the odds of a girl stinging you on outcall is extremely remote. But if the above makes you a bit more safer and gives you peace of mind, it will only allow you to be less nervous and enjoy the hobby more
